Operating a scraper properly when it's at the end of a pole seems to defy physics. How does one apply any force to the work area?

You are correct,the longer the pole the less effective your scrapping will be! there is no way to apply adequate pressure from a pole on the ground, I have broke or bent several poles over the years!

Has anyone used this with a scraper or a wire brush?

Standard size wire brush handle does not fit,smaller wire brushes do!

Does it attach to fly hawk extender poles

I don’t know brand specific, but it attached to three different poles I own.
