Hi, Size 'S' is claimed to fit UK size 5 - 6.5

I think they could be hand washed, with care.

What is the thickness of the insole in millimeters in front and rear?

The front is perhaps 3 or 4 mm and the heel varies, thicker under the arch of the foot, but the heel is around 10mm. They are soft and do give a little. I have found in one pair of shoes it makes the fit tighter but but other pairs do not. Tell you one thing, they have really made a terrific and immediate difference to my sore feet, plantar fasciitis. I bought a second pair as soon as I tried the first.
