Outstanding value
This adapter is exactly right for connecting my T60 and T420 chargers to my newer IdeaPad Z710. The 7.9mm version works great for these. It fits properly and securely, and looks and feels well constructed.Unfortunately, it seems that those chargers don't have the power required to charge the Z710 properly, but I can't dock the adapter for that. At first I thought the connection was bad, because it didn't seem to be charging at all. One of my two chargers (can't recall which off-hand) delivers slightly higher voltage than the other, and was enough to make the battery LED on the laptop flash, but still not to actually charge it. If you get one of these and experience such a problem, be sure to check those numbers; it may not be the fault of the adapter.Power specs aside, if you need this type of adapter, this is the right one to get. Excellent quality for the money. I'll definitely look to Pwr+ again if I need adapters!

Does what it's meant to do
Item arrived as promised, is of good quality, fits perfectly, and performs flawlessly. I've used a several of these with different power supplies, and none have failed.

Works as described
With this cable, I was able to convert a Thinkpad power adapter with a barrel plug into one with a rectangular adapter, giving me a second power adapter for my current Thinkpad.

It fits nice and snug
The last adapter I had like this one (I don't know what brand it was) was pretty loose. The connection fell apart with only a little bump. I like that this one fits snugly and stays together well. Never can tell how long it will last, but so far I'm well pleased.

Works with T470
I have a T430 12v car adapter and wanted to use it with a T470. Worked as expected. I haven't tested the wattage but it definitely charges while using it.My only prob is Amazon had to ship a 2nd since the first never showed up, not the adapter's fault.
