Bought this as I have an open coal fire and had some concerns over micro particles in the air. A solid piece of kit that appears to do what it says on the box, have used it on sleep mode and it is extremely quiet. It’s a good size and has a capacity to filter a large room and it is less expensive than some of the smaller capacity units. Replacement hepa filters are also very reasonably priced. A good buy

Brought for bedroom all seems ok but never really sure how effective it was until I had to remove old fire place that I never use so thought good idea to block it off to keep heat escaping up chimney but thought it would be very dusty job so got this and plugged it in not far from chimney put it on automatic and all ok till started to clear old firegrate out and it went I to overdrive sucking all dust up ,so now know it works very well

Size perfect, speed great quality fabulous can get bit noisy but not unbearable have noticed a difference in air quality

Our open plan kitchen living room is 10 x 9m approx and 2.4m high, so quite a large room. We have several dogs, so lots of dust/hairs etc. Having done the weekly hoover floor wash etc, which is a must, we turned it onto automatic and just left it to do its job. A few days later, we were really surprised to see very little dust on the hard surfaces. A friend came and had a cigarette outside the patio doors and it turned from green light to red, whilst it cleared the particles, so another tick in the box, the same when taking our children decided on a fry-up. It's quiet unless you put it onto maximum, but even then it doesn't interfere with most things like conversation/TV/music, although we just left it in auto and it has yet to turn itself to full blast.Don't forget that when you unbox it, turn the plastic base plate, remove the filter cartridge, which comes wrapped in polythene, which should be removed, before putting the filter back in and screwing back the base plate. It takes just a few seconds and is easy to do.Very pleased so far and if it continues like this, a real bargain. When it has been running for a few weeks, I intend to examine the filter cartridge to see how dirty it is. I might even take the vacumn to it to see if I can extend its life, being a penny pincher.

I now have a huge machine that is a complete waste of money.

This is honestly brilliant can honestly tell the difference, I wasn’t expecting much for the price but it’s honestly better than my more expensive one at fraction of the price

This filter saved me. I have an acekool af2 and they stoped production of the filter but this is perfect fit and really good quality.
