Bearing Carrier Retainer Wrench Tool Fits for Mercury Mercruiser Alpha One Bravo One Generation II TRS Outdrives, Alternative to 91-61069, 91-61069T, 18-9858

Fits my 2021 mercury v6 with 4.8 torpedo lower unit.

The tool is all I needed for my Alpha one Gen 1. Was able to open up the lower unit and get the bearing carrier out. The tool is sturdy and of good quality.

This was an absolutely must have tool when we had to replace the twisted prop shaft on our Bravo one outdrive. What a pain but this tool made it a little less painful.

Working on a Mercruiser Alpha one gen two: I still didn’t get the ring off and ultimately drilled it and broke as described in the factory service manual but I put a 2’ breaker bar plus a 3’ cheater pipe on this socket with the lower wedged between two tires of a loaded trailer and put I’d guess 500lbft of torque on it without anything beyond scratching the paint on the socket.

I was able to modify it . The carrier nut needed to be torqued to 210 ft lbs

Bought this for a newer 90 hp merc 4 stroke,Fit perfectly and 200 bucks less than Dealer
