Gift for travelling

This is a really weird size honestly for claiming to hold full size products. I got this to hold my toiletries and hair items since I recently had my hair fried and needed a lot more space for my hair care products. This bag is weirdly too short to fit certain brands of full sized shampoos, so I had to buy new containers to put them into in order to fit and zip. It's also not tall enough to fit a regular sized hair comb or brush in the compartments so you have to lay it in the center at an angle which is annoying. As for the side pockets, the pocket best used for toiletries doesn't fit a full sized tube of toothpaste in the elastic straps, so you cant really use the straps for anything other than a toothbrush. It's also not wide or tall enough to fit things like my retainer and mouth guard in their cases. The front pocket that's waterproof I think is a good size and fits my rectangular loofa and a collapsible bowl I use for soaking my retainers in denture cleaner and I really thought it wouldn't fit that well at all. The side pocket made for makeup products is really small, so unless you only need like a few brushes and two products it's not great for makeup, so I used that side to hold my silk hair wraps, but I would have liked for it to be large enough to fit more than just a couple wraps because now I have nowhere to put my headbands and hair ties other than in the center area that is already a bit of a mess. I think I'll keep it because I like the design and can work around its flaws, but if I had known how little it could fit beforehand, I would have purchased something else.

So glad I bought this. Its the perfect size for all my daily use toiletries, both mini and full sized. Theres also enough room to fit a full makeup bag as well. Its super cute & I’m impressed with the quality. I would definitely buy it again as a gift for someone.

Cons:-The side zipper pockets are completely flat. If you put anything in them not completely flat you distort the bag and/or smash the items. Even a razor pushes the bag out of shape and pushes into the center compartment. The mesh pocket on the top flap in very flat also. Basically anything not completely flat has to go in the center, main compartment.-the plastic lined pockets is a good idea, but if you leave anything in there, even slightly damp it just starts to mold. We have a 3 week trip we are taking… I don’t see how my toothbrush and the whole pocket won’t be moldy.-the large compartment that makes up the body has some nice mess pouches and elastic straps for holding items, BUT they are on top of each other! You can really use only practically one or the other. If there’s a large bottle in one of the elastics you can fit anything in the pocket behind it or access the pocket.-I would prefer fabric over the pleather. I don’t want pink pleather either, and the other colors are too masculine.Pros:-its a good size-it sits upright, without falling over, while the flap is openI’m returning, but it may work for others. Seems well built.
