Does what it's supposed to do
This baffle works well...keeps the squirrels out of my bird feeders. I believe you can use a baffle either above the feeders or below the feeders...depending on how the squirrels are getting to the feeder. I use mine below the feeders to stop them from climbing the shepherds pole and reaching the feeders that way. Two suggestions I would make for anyone buying a baffle is to 1) put it up high enough (over 5 feet) so that the squirrels can't get past it from below and 2) make sure your bird feeders are away from the house, fence and trees so that the squirrels can't jump from above. Squirrels are smart and if they get past it one time, they will keep trying and trying until they get past it again, but if you stop them the first time you probably will not have any more issues.

Durable & easy to install
My photos show the bracket, the seam on the baffle & the baffle installed. I have purchased 3 of these so far. I also have 3 plastic baffles from another company. The plastic have a tendency to break during high winds, but not these metal baffles. They are easy to install once you figure out how to put the seam together. The trick is to start at the top of the seam & then it will easily go into place. The 3rd one I installed was able to be done in 5 minutes, including attaching the bracket onto the pole, (I’m a 74 year old female). If the bracket is still loose after screwing it as far as it will go, just wrap some duct tape around the pole in layers & the bracket will work. These baffles are a little pricey but to me they are well worth the money. Also if positioned 4-5 feet away from structures or fences or things squirrels can climb, squirrels cannot get around these baffles. I’ve had great success with them. Would highly recommend them. These will be the only baffles I ever purchase from now on.

Works 99% of the time
I bought this squirrel baffle to help stop the squirrels from eating all of my birdseed in the bird feeders. It works great for 99% of the squirrels but one squirrel could always jump around it.

Keeps the squirrels off
I first just coated the bird feeder poles in Vaseline. While that proved to be very entertaining and did work, it wasn't a long term solution. I tried a similar baffle that was smaller and plastic and it didn't work at all. I've now put these baffles on all my feeder poles (7) and the squirrels have given up and settle with what the birds drop on the ground. Easy to install. Anytime I have my pressure washer out I blast these and they look new again.

Squirrels are Baffled....yippee
My bird feeder is hung from a tree branch and actually up until now it has been a squirrel feeder. I had serious doubts as to if this product could change it back to a feeder for the birds. I placed the baffle with it fitting like a dome on top of the feeder and hung it back where it was ....the squirrels are baffled by the baffle and the birds and I are singing with joy. The label easily peeled off and is a quality product. The squirrels still try to get the seed but quickly slide down and plop on the ground where they will then eat the fallen seed.Update, I continue to sing the praises of this 18" baffle, it has continued to deter the squirrels even tho I heard one trying to chew away on it in sheer frustration and so far the raccoons have not been able to get at the seed. It also works as a great canopy in keeping the seed dry. I have saved enough in money spent for seed to pay for the baffle. Win Win

had hopes, but doesn't completely stop them
I had hopes for this one. But sadly it is not really wide enough around and the critters have figured out how to get around it. Well, it does stop chipmunks. But not squirrels. I gave it a 3 star as it does take them some tries to get around it. So it's not as bad as before when they would just climb right up.Perhaps if my feeder was higher above the dome it would work better. I followed instructions which said the dome should mounted about 4 feet off the ground to prevent them jumping over it. I've attached a picture for those interested in how I mounted to the pole.

NO MORE Squirrels 🐿️!
We have 3 squirrel-filled Live Oak trees. It’s been a HUGE problem.I used to grease the pole, but the 🐿️s still got up, the pole got sticky, easy to climb, and a nightmare to clean. With this "More Birds Squirrel-X" baffle, all is solved! 😀My Shepherd's hook is only a 1/2 in diameter, and most baffles require 5/8. This baffle was almost my only choice. However, I'm thrilled with it after the first week! It's so slippery the rain washed the bird droppings right off! It's also good that it’s sturdy metal because we get a lot of wind and it keeps its shape. It’s also easy to refill the feeder, which I also got at Amazon. Removing it is a breeze…just take the feeder off and lift the baffle up and over the top.A terrific purchase. 👍👏😎Perhaps the 🐿️🐿️🐿️ have tried to climb up…they are normally very aggressive and hungry.haven’t seen even a single attempt to climb. It's too far to jump down or over from any tree, but it is only about 4 1/2 ft to the baffle center.
