Hayward SPX1091K1 Weir Replacement for Hayward Automatic Skimmers

I purchased this to replace the one that broke in my pool. It was the exact replica of the previous one and fits perfectly.

Replaced an aged and discolored flap. This one fit perfect!!

I was able to install the replacement part from the pool side of the skimmer, finding the indents with my finger and then sliding the pin feature on each side into place. I had to operate the flap a few times to center it. It started off rubbing against one side, but it quickly positioned itself properly. I used my opposite hand reaching from the outside of the pool through the skimmer to help guide the part in place. There are no instructions, but it is easy enough to do.

This is a nice skimmer door the only problem is it's only five and a half inches wide and my skimmer which is a Hayward is eight and a quarter inches wide this has male pins on either side and my skimmer box already has male pins looking for a female side. Wish there was an easier way to find out which is the correct skimmer door
