I just love these baggies. They are very durable and can be washed and reused. I feel good knowing that they are compostable once I do throw them away. I highly recommend these!

I like the feel, the ease of closure, and they seem to work well. I don't actually know about their ability to compost, their ability to break down and whether or not they don't make micro plastic, but assuming their honesty in advertizing, (always risky) I am quite impressed with them. My only complaint is they seem a bit pricey at close to 50 cents a bag. But we will see. My wife really likes them and intends to buy their other sizes as well - we bought the gallon size. She would like it if you could by a variety pack.

I am into using recycle materials and products these days. I gave these new bags a try and was impressed with the texture, size and color. The texture feels like thick paper, the gallon and sandwich sizes are roomy, and the color is light green not clear. The seal needs to be removed because it does not decompose quickly like the rest of the bag. The only problem is the box they came in is flimsy and I needed to tape the end of the box so it wouldn't fall apart.

I use way too many plastic zip bags and wanted something either recyclable or compostable. This is a great choice.

The product doesn't have a year strip on the box, which is a major handicap. The wrap is perforated so set lengths can be torn off (like paper towels, e.g.), but is difficult to tear edge to edge without the stuff sticking to itself in the process. I only subtracted one star, though, because the wrap itself seals really well, and, most importantly, it's compostable. I'd sworn off plastic wrap entirely until I found this green alternative.

Product is fine; remove zipper tab before composting is a little hassle but ok. I bought this looking for an alternative to products made in China. This company advertises as New Zealand-based, but does not disclose that their products are manufactured in China. I guess to keep costs down, most compostable products I have looked at are all made in China. But to buy products intended to be earth-friendly which are manufactured in plants with unknown (and probably not good) impact on the environment and using indentured laborers does not make sense to me. I have finally found an Ohio-based company with all products made right there called Green Paper Products. I will make my future purchases from them

I purchased these bags as they are compostable. Trying to do my part in “saving the earth”. And then these earth friendly bags come in a huge box and enough bubble wrap to move an entire house. How disappointing.

I look forward to replacing my plastic storage bags with these. But the amount of plastic in the packaging made it seem like it a was of time and a lot of money. I should have just bought plastic bags.
