Yes for sure not to stiff that it would move with the smoothness of the body.

Q: how do i clean these?

I have always used the masters brush cleaner and just water if you are using acrylic paint I use a 5 gallon bucket about two thirds full just tap them on the side of the bucket the masters brush cleaner works for acrylic and oil paint and use YouTube for tips on cleaning brush cleaning for the medium you use. Watercolor oil or acrylic you can learn just about anything on YouTube lol

For the price point I expected less, but this is a quality set

Quality materials and assembly. No shedding of the quality nylon bristles, that load up with paint quite well. Now for the case,, in the description it says to watch a video to get the case to stand up... I watched every video with no joy. After un- boxing the answer was clear,, Take the hook and loop strap and fasten it to the bottom loop square, repeat with the opposite side and voila. Standing case, which is a really nice canvas stitched with individual brush loops and a heat welded plastic top inside protecting brush heads. It also has a loop for hanging storage and cloth tie stings .

Great value for the money

For me, as an acrylic painter, I don’t usually use expensive brushes. These are a great bargain. Many brush choices, sizes, and haven’t loosened or shed with use. The rounds have really nice points and carry a good amount of water. Great set for beginners or intermediate painters.
