This is a beautiful nesting doll set. The quality is superb. A sweet little gift for my soon to be born grandson for Christmas. I am really pleased with it and appreciate the nice touch of a card from the seller. Thinking about ordering the set in the other style because it's so cute.

Beautiful paint job, real wood, and the price is appropriate for the quality. Lots of creative options with this toy, like making up a story with the animals - it’s nice to find an alternative to electronic toys that do all the thinking for kids. I bought this for my almost 2-year-old, who was obsessed with my Russian matryoshka doll - I didn’t want him playing with that one so bought his own. Although I would not recommend it for children under age three, because it’s just too hard for them to operate it independently, we still have a lot of fun with this set!

I purchased this set for my 18 month old and he loves them! Pros: great value for the price, cute designs and more "aesthetic" than plastic toys, keeps my little one entertained for some time. Cons: colors are not as vivid as the photo, the bear's ears are easily breakable and came off at the first use, the littlest piece could be a hazard depending on your child, and they're kind of hard to open until they're broken in. They open more easily over time, or if you use a twisting motion while opening which helped teach motor skills. My son still loves them months later despite the cons so it's a win for me!

Product is durable, yet when I got to the next to last nesting egg, it was not scored correctly, making it extremely hard to open. Then, after it did open, the wood swelled and that egg would not fit back on properly. My husband ended up whittling a little bit off, but overall, the product was great.

Gave as a corny gift to a person adopted out of Russia as an infant and they were colorful and made well enough

Ill-fitting, wood is inferior grade with knots and burrs. Don't buy. No quality control.

Not the quality I was expecting. The biggest one, the bear, didn’t fit well together. The bear’s ear fell off first day. Cute but small and inferior quality.

I love this nesting doll set so much, each animal is adorable. They fit nicely together and I know they are consistent because I’ve purchased this set four different times to give as baby shower gifts. Nice to give something a little different.
