On first inspection this looked like an identical piece to the original that I was replacing. However, I'm going to have to return this as it's so tight (on the thread) it won't do up fully on the beaker and so leaks. It's a shame because otherwise it's spot on.

Excellent fits perfect

Despite costing more than twice as much as the (out of stock) genuine article, this "compatible" version is obviously poor quality in comparison. However, the need for a smoothy outweighed the risk of buying a compatible article.The first thing that happened when I opened the box was that the drive cog underneath fell off. I haven't tried to use it yet but think that the screw works in the opposite direction so when power is applied it will self-tighten - but not a great advert.The plastic construction of the main body is flexible and inferior quality.The blades are misaligned.If this works for a while until a genuine replacement article is available then I guess I'll just have to put it down to experience, but paying nearly £14 for this against abot £6 for a genuine one is bad news.Avoid if you can.
