Great, highly recommended
These brushes I had been looking at for a while. I do have other cheaper versions and these are great quality and the best brushes I have ever had.The push button is very east to use and gives one little drop at a time. The water bladder does hold a lot more water than other brands I have had.The only issue with them is that the cap does not fit onto the other end, it is too loose and as you can't put it on the end you have to leave it floating around on the work surfice where it may get lost.Highly recommended brushes.

They are so easy to use and the button system makes controlling water flow a lot easier I’m very happy with them

Better than I expected
I’ve used Pentel Aquash water brushes for absolute years and years for illustrated journaling and the occasional YouTube watercolour tutorial (I’m not a fan of lots of fuss so 28 brushes and 17 varieties of cerulean followed by disappointment at my result versus what I see on screen isn’t for me), and have always been pretty happy with them. Recently needed a new set and because I couldn’t get them before 2047 I decided to give these a go, based entirely on how impressed I was with Inktense paint (even though the colour names confuse the heck out of me!), after ordering a much cheaper set that I chucked angrily in the bin after 2 days because it was like painting with ramen the brush was so soft.Overall, these are much better than the Pentel. I noticed immediately how much easier life is when everything you do isn’t always watery. I love the push control button and it’s certainly improved the vibrancy of my colours without needing to glaze several times. It’s also quite nice to not always have a soaking wet tip on the pen. The bristles are firm enough to have significant control over where paint goes but also soft enough to bend gently to do flower petals etc and an idea of a tree without drawing every single leaf. I mainly use the large round brush, but good to have the chisel tip and small and medium tips around, should I ever decide to paint raindrops (unlikely)The reason I took 1 star off is that, possibly because I use it a lot, although I certainly do not spend 46 hours a day painting, the large brush has developed a bend in the tip (VERY difficult to catch in the photo but hey I tried!)Currently a mild occasional irritation, and I’m hoping it doesn’t get worse as I really do love these brushes. Took the star off only because it specifically says will hold its shape and that’s not quite my experience after having the brushes since 29 June 2022, so basically a week, and I’ve been using them on 300gsm cotton cold press paper in my sketchbook that doesn’t have excessive texture.

Best waterbrushes I've used
These are the best waterbrushes I've used. I've completely switched from trad brushes now.

Good brush but ...
The brush pen is easy to handle and actually does have a brush unlike the caran'dache "brush" pen I have.It is a pleasure to use. However, when the cap is removed to allow access to the brush it does not fit on the end and will run the risk of being lost without a secure fit on the end. Quite why a device that seems to be made for outdoor use, urban sketching etc would be designed this way is just beyond me.For this reason my older Derwent brush pens are better.

Great water brushes
I usually buy Pentel water brushes, and I still love those, but these Derwent brushes come with much larger tanks and I like the variety of sizes. I wish these companies would start selling replacement tips to cut down on plastic use and waste. The tanks can be reused nearly indefinitely, so replacement brush heads would be ideal.Beginners may struggle to control the water when beginning with any water brushes, but you can get used to them. I still prefer my actual wood handled brushes, but these are really nice when I want to add color to a sketch or do a color swatch on the couch, in bed or out and about.

Confusing....
Was really excited to try this waterbrush out. I am actually confused as the other reviews are saying it's a great control of flow, totally leak proof, easy to use, the button is a nice touch etc etcI found the button isn't even a button, just a squishier plastic and when you push it, it leaks! If you push hard enough...it SQUIRTS! and when you're painting with it it just willy nilly flows however much it wants!I put less water in. I tried different pressure when painting. I tried not squeezing. I'm still baffled how badly it leaks. I really only got it to travel with and there is not way I would put that thing in a suitcase!I have one from the dollar store for $2 and it actually works like a dream! Maybe I got a dud. I really don't know. Can't recommend. Truly confused.
