Reliable Product for a Great Price
I was intending to use this router for my family and myself at our home, but I had to leave to go back to school, so I took it with me to use in my fraternity house. I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical if it was going to disperse the wifi and reach far enough with 9 rooms of 18 guys connecting to the router, totaling 32 devices as of right now.Positives:Setting the router up was very easy and the router interface is great. Just plug it in and follow the quick instructions to get connected. The interface is perfect for beginners compared to those routers who give the user way too many options that don't need to be tweaked. I haven't been in a situation with this router where I had to find a setting where I needed to change and it hasn't been easy to find. Everything is basic and categorized for the purpose of easy access for the user.Range and Strength for the router is a big plus. The router is set up in my room where I have an ethernet outlet connecting to the fraternity's modem. We are getting 500 Mbps down and I am getting download speeds in the upper 80s (some speeds get reduced because of the number of wires between the router and modem and the coaxial cable or DSL coming into the house as well as people on the wifi -- 31 other devices on it to be exact). The router does an excellent job of reaching both ends of the hallway (I am in the middle) and delivering full speeds. As you can see in the pictures, this router has 8 long antennas on it; Speedefy is giving the customer all the range it can for a $79 product. This thing is perfect for a college student or a family at home who needs to support the house with wifi and doesn't want to get the name brand company's router who makes their product just good enough to get the good reviews but then charges a heavy dollar. This Speedefy and its router and give you the most "bang for your buck" that I have seen in a while, and you cannot go wrong with it.Downsides:The only downsides I see to this router are that it only has 3 ethernet inputs and it can take up a decent amount of space if the antennas are perpendicular to the router. Also, if aesthetics or a simplistic look of a router are of interest, this router is not meant for that. This router is meant for speed and range. If you are looking for simplistic, look at the name brands that do not give you the necessary antennas needed in order to reach the far corners of your house without cutting out.Overall, this product is a steal for anyone looking to save money on a new router. Many products in this genre will make your wallet sweat just thinking about them. This router can support a multitude of devices, so if you buy this router and you are not seeing good results, you may want to check your modem or purchase higher speeds from your ISP. This router and company will not let you down if you already obtain the speeds necessary for your household. This product will allow you to return it if you are unhappy with it, which is a plus, but I highly doubt you will be in that situation with this router. During these times where we are stuck inside or taking online classes, this product is perfect for those on a tight budget but need wifi in order to stay connected with the world.

This easy to use, feature rich router is a great value..
To Start:I have been working with wireless Ethernet since it was first rolled out. They have been a part of my employment as well as home for a very long time. My current home internet is where the router was installed. I Have a cable modem at 100mb download speed and around 10mb upload. The router arrived a couple days after ordering. I was surprised at the size of the box. It was much larger and lighter than I had expected. I was surprised once again when I had opened the box. The unit was assembled with the antennae already attached. At first I thought there was a lot of waste, but then I went back and looked at the packaging fro my last router. There was a large amount of plastic everywhere. The paper product packaging was refreshing and I believe would be recyclable or at least break down properly in a landfill.5 minutes after opening the package, I had it plugged in and ready to go.The App:I hate the software that comes with most communications equipment. I usually give up on the software, and configure them manually. Having said that, I did read the Quick Start Guide, and thought I would give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to use the Android based version of the App. In less than a minute, the router was up and running in a basic and secure configuration. The App has a simplified interface that should allow a large majority of people to access the settings they need. In addition, the web based interface is also available if desired, or to set up some of the more 'technical' features. It also has built-in apps that allow the security of the settings to be checked, and the channel settings to be adjusted for maximum performance. In the basic setup, it should work extremely well for a user that just wants to plug it in and go. It is however very rich in advanced features that will allow most users to get it to do exactly what they need with a minimum of effort.Performance:The first thing I noticed was how fast it attaches to my devices, and how 'speedy' it was compared with my other WiFi routers. Claims about interference and signal strength are very real. All of this equates to greater range and much faster transfer speeds at greater distance.Even with 3 computers, 5 phones, 2 Roku TV, an XBOX 1, two internet enabled switches and an internet thermostat attached, the router did not skip a beat during streaming and browsing. I cannot say that for the other, more expensive router I have. The area it is installed in has a lot of interference that causes issue with my other router. I have not seen any issues with interference with this router.Customer Support:I used email customer support to ask some questions. They responded very quickly and with information that was useful.Shortfalls:I do not see any serious issues with the K7.A feature that is available elsewhere that I really do like is an email feature to let me know when someone is trying to hack in to the router. This has been handy in the past but really not necessary.Conclusions:1) This router allows very easy setup for basic users, and features that should allow users to customize the router to fit their needs.2) It is resistant to interference and has a fantastic range.3) It has two very easy to use interfaces.4) It allows many users on many devices be fully active at any time.5) The price is very competitive.6) customer support is fast and helpful.

Great router, easy setup, great value!
I got this Speedefy router on October 6th I've had some time to use it and I'm really happy with its performance. It operates well I've had no cut outs on wifi and was super easy to install. I'm coming from the built in wifi on a Comcast x1 modem. The Comcast modem leaves a lot to be desired. Here are some pros and cons on this product for me.ProsSuper easy to set up and really really easy to use interface for configuration.Port forwarding and advanced setup options very intuitive and easy to use.Price. Simply put for the price I paid 83$ including my sales tax this router performs fantastic.Speed is great I constantly get 200+mbps on my phone and desktop on wifi using wifi 5 ac.My desktop is wired to the router and has no problem pulling my full gigabit internet.ConsNot many, the signal is good inside the house, I was hoping having all these Antennas it would give me more distance than the built in router. I only gained about 10 feet into the yard. It's better but I was expecting more. The device is huge. The Antennas are huge. It looks cool but I had to really play with my desk setup to make a place for it.It is very simple. It has all the features you would expect from a modern ac router but lacks some of the polish of more expensive brands like net gear and linksys. For the price, I don't miss the polish but it may matter to some users.Over all I would buy this product again, I would recommend it to a friend. Great product!
