We put the shelf into a very small guest bath that has no cabinetry (pedestal sink) and no closet for towels or bathroom supplies. We put a wicker basket organizer on top of the shelf to hold a box of Kleenex, a spare roll of TP, and some basic guest bath toiletries. The towels then hang underneath the shelf and now our guests have everything they need. This shelf was a simple addition and a great solution when not having a closet or cabinet in a tiny bathroom.

Item review first then story of why I chose the product and how I used it below.The item is well packaged, easy to figure out how to install. It requires a drill, a level,Hammer, measuring tape, and I suggest painters tape for marking off the wall. Remove the 2 mounting hangers by unscrewing the allen key (provided) head screws. Determine where you want the shelf and hold it there with a level marking a square around the 2 anchor locations (once again painters tape is suggested here). Now set the shelf down and hold the 2 mounting hangers in the middle of those squares to mark 2 screw locations. Use a drill (size isn't mentioned so I guessed small then moved up slowly) to drill out the holes so that the plastic grommets push in very tight. I used a hammer once I was sure it would fit. Be sure to not damage the plastic grommets and that they are as tight as possible. Now screw the hanger brackets on the wall ensure they are facing the proper way and are level. Now here is my only major complaint for this whole installation. The allenhead screws are so close to the wall and to the actual rack you can't really turn them well with the provided allen key. I didn't have a driver for my drill either so I had no choice but to make do. I had to try 2-3 times on each side to get the grip to hole correctly. My wall isn't perfectly flat so the character might have made it harder than a nice flat wall. I had to press hard against the wall to get the screws to begin fitting properly. DO NOTE TIGHTEN ONE SIDE ALL THE WAY FIRST. Get them both started while supporting the shelf to ensure the hangers are gripping properly. Finally tighten both sides checking a couple of times back and forth until you can't tighten them anymore which should mean the allen screws are flush with the shelf. If they are sticking out a lot I would suggest you did something wrong and the shelf wouldn't hold as much weight as rated. When done, I pulled on the shelf and pushed a bit (not trying to rip it off) just to ensure its sturdy. It was very sturdy and looked nice. My partner and I were able to hang both of our towels and then store fresh towels on top with no problems. Also I put hooks on the sides to hold a hair dryer which was another nice added storage option.This product worked great for me.My bathroom is tiny and I had no storage, the only towel holder was my shower door handle. This unit allowed for 2 towels and 4 large rolled fresh towels on top. As I stated in the installation review if you put hooks on the edges you can also hang stuff like hair dryers and so on.

I got 3 more, for 3 different walls. I love the shelf you can put plants on top or more towels

This KES product is just as beautiful as the other ones purchased. I love my new towel shelf and look forward to many years of use!

I LOVE the way this looks. It is pretty easy to install but we are now having trouble with it coming out of the drywall which can be fixed with drywall anchors. But it looks fantastic and having the double bars is so nice for my husband and I.

Arrived with the lower front bar loose and was rattling when it moved. Not manufactured properly with no quality control as it didn’t appear to be welded. Sent it back and bought one from QT Home Decors which is a much better product and well recommended

Hard to Secure as screws very small hard to reach with big hands

Arrived scratched. We returned this item as we felt it was really cheap and not worth £69.99. The steel is really thin and wouldn't be strong enough for damp bath towels and the rigors of family life. The wall fixing is small and after time may pull out of the wall. Fed-up with buying cheap products at inflated prices that end up in a landfill a year later?

Looks ok once up just a bit bendier than expected

Shelf is more shallow than it appears. Folded towels of any significant size will hang well out over the edge. But otherwise appears solid and attractive. Mounting hardware could be better quality - drywall anchors are the cheap, plastic wall inserts rather than the metal screw-in style. But appears to be good value and well constructed. Looks good.
