Perfect For top floor apartment during summer
Not heavy, easy as plug-and-play.This thing blows like a dyson fan in my opinion! We live on 3rd floor of an apartment building and the central ac FAILS on us as soon as it’s 80f outside. This place isn’t even a year old and the ac units are brand new, so I know griping to management about the failure wouldn’t do much. The heat rises and it was staying around 77-81f in the apartment. We have 2 portable ac units and they were running nonstop depending on which room we were in. I knew heavy use of any ac unit whether central or portable would slap on at least $100 to our monthly utility bill. At wits end, I decided to buy this air mover fan because my dad has one (a larger one albeit) and the thing BLOWS so powerfully and is more effective in air movement and cooling compared to a regular box fan, pedestal fan, or table top fan. Just scrap the idea of buying all those useless fans. They are crap compared to an air mover fan!Of course this one fan listed here is a smaller one to focus on maybe 1-2 people at a time so if you’re looking for something more, I would suggest buying the larger version of this fan (the price is higher).I appreciate that this fan is smaller and apartment-friendly. We live by a highway and the white noise it produces is soothing and not overpowering with noise in my opinion.I love the fact it has a carry handle on it so I can just grab it and tote it around from room to room. The blower part is adjustable so you can change the direction angle to aim it up higher or lower in height. I have made use of that feature and that’s something I was looking for when searching for this type of fan.The cord that comes with it is a heavy duty type of cord like the one you see in outdoor extension cords. Definitely durable! The height of this fan is about the size of my indoor domestic cats. It isn’t that big, but it’s definitely worth it for starting out. I anticipate that later on down the line I might buy a second one but that one will probably be bigger.I don’t regret buying this fan at all. I knew it would be small. The price point and the money constraints right now are two reasons why I settled with this size 𝚟𝚜 a larger unit. It is still very much worth the cost and if there were no larger units, I’d buy a second one of these! They’re incredibly powerful.I have been able to keep all of my ac units OFF for hours so far today while I have this fan blowing on me and still had a blanket on my legs. Oh I’m Pregnant and do run hot these days and the indoor temp is 81-82 degrees right now.I’m not anemic at all. So with that being said, this fan is a win-win if you’re bothered by utility companies jacking up your utility bills every time you use your ac. It’s totally worth the purchase. The worst that could happen is you don’t like it and can return it. I say you try it out and see for yourself.Obviously, don’t put this fan in the rain or near water or let the dog pee on it like it’s a fire hydrant and you won’t have quality control problems. If you use it for it’s intended purpose and take care of it, it can definitely last a long time. My dad has 2 air movers too. How you take care of them will depict how long they’ll hold up for years to come.TLDR: excellent for reducing utility bills and trying to avoid using ac as much. Blows like a dyson fan. BUY IT, it’s worth the purchase.

Great fan/white noise machine
This fan ticks all the boxes that I wanted, a nice compact shape, a small footprint but the ability to move some air. This does it! On low is a great white noise generator that easily sits on my bedside table with room to spare. Puts out a nice pleasing noise that blocks out all other sounds. But it really moves some air too! Looks and feels solid, the dial on the side easily switches it on and has three settings so great functionality. Has tons of air moving power on setting 3. It's made by Lasko so it's durable and it will last for years to come. Electrical outlets on the side are convenient for my cellphone charger and they're rated for 10 amps, so the cord that powers the unit seems fairly heavy duty.I'd definitely recommend this blower without hesitation.

Great fan. Strong air output, well made.
Our bedroom faces East, and gets blasted by the Sun for a good five or six hours. We have a pretty good portable air conditioner, but the room felt like the hot box on the Bridge on the River Kwai, even with the a/c running continuously. We needed something to circulate the cold air coming from the a/c, as the stream of air coming out of it isn’t very powerful (though it is nice and cool.) We were so desperate for a respite from the heat we hung a thick blanket over the entire window, to block out as much Sun and heat as possible. That helped a bit, but wasn’t enough to make our Easy Bake Oven bedroom comfortable. Sleeping was difficult, to say the least. We researched fans on Amazon, and this one got good reviews. But there was a problem; this fan was out of our budget. We are both on fixed incomes, and have to watch every dollar. But we really didn’t want to buy another big box store fan that would work for four months, then conk out. And we wouldn’t be finding a fan powerful enough to make a difference at the low price points of big box store fans.Happily, this fan was available on a payment plan. (Thank you, Amazon!!!) We counted the hours till it arrived, as we were very tired of feeling like rotisserie chickens rotating beneath those red light bulbs. We plugged it in, and tried it out. Let me tell you- the lowest setting on this fan is stronger than the highest setting of air output of any fan we have ever tried. The medium setting is VERY powerful. As for the highest setting- I was leaning down with my face in the stream of air to test it, and I thought my eyelashes were going to blow off. And that is a good thing! Finally, a fan that was REALLY going to make a difference! And- it really does make a difference. We have the fan on top of the a/c unit, with the output nozzle pulled all the way down, so the stream of air from the fan is very close to the stream of air from the a/c. We have had over a month of 90+ days, and this fan has been a life saver. We try not to run the a/c at night to save money, and the fan is strong enough to keep us both pretty cool. That is, a whole LOT cooler than we were before we bought it! Sleep, thank goodness, is possible again. And the combo of fan + a/c cools the room down almost instantly, whereas before, it took at least 1/2 hour for the a/c to reduce the dense cloud of heat in that stuffy room.As we knew we would be running the fan often, and with it being a higher-priced appliance, we bought the 3 year protection plan to go with it for peace of mind.If you are tired of fans that seem they will really cool off a room but end up being wimpy, we *highly* recommend this fan. One thing: it can get loud, especially at the two highest settings. For us, it’s not uncomfortably loud. It’s a “oh I can hear a fan going” kind of loud. The comfort the fan provides is such a happy relief the sound level of it running is not a deal breaker at all. So for us, the fan’s volume is not a problem. If you are on the fence about trying this fan, you should absolutely go for it. With the weather seemingly on course to be uncomfortably hot from now on for a large portion of the year, and having to endure months of 90 degree temperatures, this fan is REALLY coming in handy, and we are glad we purchased it. Thank you!

Powerful, Versatile, and Perfect for Home Use!
I bought this Lasko 12” Utility Fan for use around the house, and it has been fantastic! It’s compact but incredibly powerful, moving a ton of air with its 289 CFM airflow. The pivoting head makes it easy to direct the breeze wherever I need it, whether I’m cooling down a room, improving airflow, or drying an area quickly. The three speed settings offer great flexibility, and I really appreciate the built-in accessory outlets, which are super handy for plugging in small devices. Despite its high velocity performance, it runs smoothly and isn't too loud. This fan is a great investment for anyone looking for a durable, reliable, and effective way to stay cool and improve ventilation at home.
