ARK NATURALS Joint Rescue Dog Chew, Chicken Flavor, Joint Supplement with Glucosamine & Chondroitin, 2 Pack

My dogs nearly take my fingers off when I feed them any flavor of these Ark Natural treats. I have a father and son duo of chocolate labs that are 8 and 10 years old. People at the dog park asked, what are you feeding Chaco and Denali when I started giving them these treats that I found at Whole Foods. They were much more active and barking and having fun. This is a treat that they like better than all others, and a medicine for their joints, all in one. We will keep a supply of these on hand always. Amazon seems to have the best prices, and they love all the flavors.

I cured my dog's torn/injured ACL using this product liberally, twice daily, which undoubtedly disappointed 2 veterinarians who swore the ONLY way he could recover is their $6000 surgical procedure. My poor Labrador was only able to use 3 legs after a bad injury from jumping off the deck. I did some research and restricted him from running & jumping, and made sure he didn't chase balls (tough for a lab!), and put a leg wrap on him for a little extra support. After several months, he began walking on 4 legs all the time. Now, a year later, he's good as new, and instead of being fleeced for $6K, my investment has been $150 or so in Joint Rescue dog treats. My very picky Labrador loves the flavor. I tried all of the high-strength "vet approved" and "reccommended" liquid Glucosamine/Chondroitan products, but he refused to take it or eat food with it added. These chewy squares went down like magic. (and FYI- I was not paid or encouraged by the company for this review)

We have two father and son chocolate Labradors ages eight and ten years. They love all the different flavors of these joint rescue treats. We give them 5 squares each, every morning for maximum mobility and energy. Chaco, our ten year old, plays with other dogs, and is very active for his age. Some mornings he barks, and barks, he is so happy and feeling good. Denali, our eight year old, runs all over the dog park playing, but he prefers to retrieve sticks from lakes and rivers. Ark Naturals is a miracle joint rescue product that we have had our friends try on their aging dogs and they have loved it, and keep buying more for their dogs.

I have a 16 year old dog showing her age. These help her with stiffness and mobility. Since supplementing her grain free diet with these she is able to jump up and down off of the bed and scampers around quite well for a dog her age. A grain free diet helps her digestion and along with supplements such as these reduces inflammation in older dogs. Even her Veterinarian was impressed. She loves the flavor and sometimes I just crumble the square into her kibble.

I have given these joint treats to my Golden Retriever for years. She’s seems to like the taste and it seems to help her joints, so I am an ongoing customer. One recurring issue is that the product is often dried out and bagged with fragmented pieces. Rather than the flat squares that they should be, there are crumbles and partial pieces. The quality control should be higher, or the production method should be rethought. For the price, the quality should be better; the way it is sold now, the customer always is dealing with a mess.

My pup is getting a bit older and had a back injury a few months back. He's doing much better now. I've been making sure he has a healthy diet that is filled with omega 3s and anti-inflammatory. He also gets his exercise every singe day which has helped with his movement. Anything that helps his joints is a plus! I do think the treats are helping but I think any vitamins/nutrients/change in diet will help as well. I will probably keep buying them because he actually eats them and I know they provide nutrients he needs.

My dog used to slip and dislocate knee and then limp frequently about a few years ago - our vet recommended medication containing glucosamine and chondroitin as the first treatment. This worked very well for her and she has not limped since. Now we have cut the dosage of the medication down to half and have been giving one chew of the current product (Ark Naturals Chews) as a replacement. This complemented the reduced dosage of the medication very well, with the dog feeling the same effect as from the full dose of the medication and doing well. Secondly, she likes it - I do not like the smell (though it is not as bad as some of the other treats), but wish it had a smell like Nudges-brand treats. Over all, it has worked well for us and we have been ordering it repeatedly.

I bought these for my dog when he was not moving as easily as he used to. Some mornings he struggled to get out of his bed. Well, I'm close to 70 so I immediately understood what the problem was. I started giving these to him a few years back and he no longer suffers from morning stiffness. And he loves the flavor.

Have been giving my Golden this since December 2019. He is only 3 so hopefully this supplement would help him in his older years.
