Swanson Canned Chicken a la King With White and Dark Chicken Meat, 10.5 OZ Can

It has a good chicken flavor with a nice gravy. I put it on a microwave potato with some steam fresh peas. A delicious meal ready in 20 minutes with no effort. A can is about right for one person .

Perhaps my memory is off, but a common way food companies stay competitive is by reducing the expensive ingredients.Regardless, this does taste identical to what I remember Mom serving in the 1970s. Same flavor.A fix for more chicken, common for any canned item, is to "doctor" it a bit by adding more cooked, unflavored, chicken chunks to the heated mix.

Great on toast. It tastes exactly the way I remember it form when I was a kid in the 70's/80's.
