I was apprehensive to spend this much on a piece of furniture without trying it, but I watched a lot of vids about it first. It was worth it. It definitely gave my bedroom an upgraded feel too. I am tall (6'4"), and standing I use it at 43.7", but it can go all the way to 49" so there is room for even taller people, but that might make the wobble more intense.The desk does slightly wobble in the standing position - IF you push on it. It is not triggered by normal typing however. I have a heavy computer and 2 monitors on it too. I had read about the wobble beforehand and was a bit worried - but I'm definitely glad I bought it because it is not a problem at all. I would take a star off for that but I like the desk too much. Lol.Make sure you get everything as hand tight as you can after and during assembly to reduce wobble.

If you are a little mechanically inclined you will have not problem putting it together. If you are not buy one assembled. Work in a busy office in an industrial setting. So much room for activities.It goes up and down quickly. The memory settings makes going from sitting to standing a one button operation.

 Very sturdy and it goes very low. it is soooo heavy and sturdy. Works great. Real bamboo top. And legs are really heavy. It took 2 hours to install. But worth it. I wish they were cheaper.Update:Using it more than 7 months now. Very satisfied with the quality. I myself like the table to be high, my husband likes it to be low. So with this table we can fulfill both our needs. I work on it when he is at his office. The table itself is really, really heavy. One leg weighs around 20 pounds I think. I can't lift it alone. The top board is so strong that we were not able to screw the nail in. Recently we bought a power drill, we will try drilling the nail in. You need to attach the operating part to the table with screws.We selected this table because it can go very low, since our height is not that tall.It says "I am not so rich to buy cheap things". When you buy cheap things, they will be lower quality as a result you will keep on buying again and again. Where as this one is very costly. I think along with tax we paid around $600 but we are hoping it will serve us for more than 10 years.While cleaning the carpet around this table I just put the table up very high and easily clean the area. Till now it didn't bend or shake too much.

I don’t write many reviews but the Jarvis desk deserves it. First of all, putting it together was pretty easy. It takes about 2 hours if you include the unboxing. The company obviously spent a few extra $$ in the inside packaging to make sure the desk arrives without a scratch. The instructions were extremely easy to follow and there aren’t too many parts. You’re basically putting it together upside down due to the way the legs attach under the desk. So be prepared to have someone help you flip it over when you’re done. The desk looks to be built really well and is pretty heavy... probably too much for a smaller person to flip over alone. I read a complaint about it wobbling but mine seems to be solid and doesn’t move in the slightest. I have it set on a tile floor and have (2) 27” monitors weighing it down. The up/down motorized movement is very smooth and quiet. It looks great and I have no doubt it’ll last a long time.

Will update as time milestones pass or if something goes critically wrong.7/26/2019 - initial update - 4.5/5 starsReceived desk a week ago. Desk came in two boxes with excellent packaging on both. Nothing was damaged and all parts were included. Assembly for the desk itself was fairly simple and easy. The only misstep was mounting for the control unit as the manual says there are pre-drilled holes for it but there wasn't in my case. That's the only reason I can't give a perfect score right now.In terms of operation, the desk is currently in good standing (heh). It's easy to use, fairly quiet, and stable. I am curious how the desk will perform over time as I have about 40 or so pounds of imbalance in my current set-up.I have also added some extra mix-ins to the desk: a 3rd party computer holder, 3rd party keyboard tray, 3rd party monitor clamp mount, 1st party cable management trays, and 1st party wheels. This accommodation for accessories is great. However, be mindful that things like keyboards trays and computer holders might be a pain to install due to needing pilot holes. The 1st party accessories can be found on the seller's site and were shipped quite quickly.
