Perfect for Touch Ups
This is not my first Work Sharp product. I recently bought the Guided Field sharpener at Bass Pro and love it. I bought this little gem to keep in my EDC bag for touching whatever pocket knife I may be carrying on certain days. It works great! Just follow the instructions or watch the YouTube videos on how to use it. If used properly it will restore a nice edge to your knife. Personally I would only use a pull through only when a stone isn't available. This one is nice because of its size. You can put it in your pocket, glove compartment, go bag, etc. Buy a couple. They're great little tools.

Excellent bang for the buck!
I must admit that I was very skeptical about this sharpener before trying it. The price point along with the method it used to sharpen had me curious as to the quality of the edge that it would produce. Since opening the package I have been able to put the sharpener through a gauntlet of tasks. The first task was to sharpen six Old Hickory paring knives which we use as steak knives. My initial reply was”Wow”. I was very impressed with the speed, ease and quality of the edge. Yes the knives are carbon steel and sharpen relatively easily, however the pivot pro really made quick work of the bunch. With no more than right passes on the carbide cutter and three on the ceramic the knives were extremely sharp. This is a huge plus being that they full so quickly cutting on dinner plates. The next task I completed was to sharpen all of our knives at the Firehouse. At first I was only going to do several and at the end I sharpened all of them mainly because it was so quick and easy. So , who is this sharpener for? I would say everyone. I am a knife collector and there are definitely some knives that I will only sharpen a certain way by a certain means. I have traditionally used the Work Sharp Ken Onion edition with the blade grinding attachment and that system works beyond great. The only drawback is it is normally a small event setting it up and working through the different grits. The pivot pro is down and dirty and gets it done with little fuss. The sharpener is perfect for the kitchen drawer, the shop, the truck or where ever you need a quick razor edge and a convex edge at that.

Gets the job done.
Quality is alittle on the lower side it feels like I could break it, but it sharpens great and cant beat the price.

nice pull-through sharpener
Not a bad product for the money. It does a decent job sharpening knives with just a few pulls. No need to spend more time using whetstones.

Useful and Effective
I carry a pocket tool that includes a knife blade which I like to keep very sharp. Being always on hand, that blade gets a lot varied use. A couple of swipes with this sharpener, and whatever grief I have inflicted on my pocket tool is quickly remedied. This is also small and light and easy to also carry if needed. The carbide sharpening edges have two settings, and the ceramic hone refines the process. Included is a diamond-coated tapered rod that can be used on odd-shaped cutting edges. I used it successfully on a curved blister-pack opener.

Kinda cheap
It works extremely well as a sharpener. I just wish it was built a little more durable, definitely Chinese.
