Durable feel!
Durable feel! It is possible to copy-paste more detailed views from the internet to plane paper. Best way if you have an smart phone might be to download an app that allows you to download maps. One member of our party did that and it was absolutely SUPER! It was amazing. (I think smartphones will catch on some day. . . ;-) Having this map is nice as a backup, I suppose. The people in Cuba were very helpful. English is catching on there and so if you ask a few people how to get somewhere, at least one should be able to help. Get there before McDonalds and Burger King do or you will miss out on a real eyeopener! Oh. . . back to the product review. . . it would have been nice to see all the street names printed on the map, even if the printing would need a magnifying glass to see it. I took off one star because using a smart phone with a good app is THE BEST way to go.

If visiting Havana, do not leave this map at home!
Iāve always loved traveling with the StreetSmart maps. As they are thickly laminated, you never have to worry about getting them wet or having them rip. In some locations theyāre more useful than in others. In Cuba, particularly in Havana, it was an invaluable resource. Detailed maps of the Old Town, plus a good overview of greater Havana, made the lack of WiFi and our familyās lack of Spanish skills obselete. When my wife wanted to visit the old cemetery, we found it quickly on the map, showed the taxi driver (in a immaculately preserved royal blue ā55 Chevrolet Chevelle) where we wanted to go, and ten minutes later weāre there. It worked just as well when I longed to sip a Daquiri at the same bar that Hemingway did about 85 years ago. I showed the driver (this time in a hot pink Ford Fairlane) the map location and 15 minutes later I was sent back in time. So, if going to Havana, this map is an absolute must!

Probably the best resource I brought with me to Cuba
Please note that the most things in this map are written/described in Spanish. I know enough Spanish from high school/college to understand the legend more or less, but YMMV. The great thing about it being in Spanish is that you can hand it to a local cab driver or helpful pedestrian in Cuba if you're asking for directions, and it will makes sense to them, allowing them to point you in the right direction at the very least if they're monolingual. The lamination is also sturdy and held up well to being in my back pocket every day for a week.

Remember to Stay Analog in Cuba !
Remember that internet or Wifi is shall we say problematical in Cuba. Also charging a phone is not easy and due to the fact your phone will be constantly seeking you will go through your battery much faster .Only complaint is Type is a bit hard to read . A good edit would be bigger or better contrast. Decent detail and accuracy though.

which is nice. I do wish it had a mini-map of ...
This was an extremely handy map of Cuba! It focuses heavily on Havana, and has smaller pop-boxes of other areas, which is nice. I do wish it had a mini-map of Santa Clara, but otherwise it was great. I appreciate it also signals some tourist favorites, dive sites, and major monuments. Very handy! When fully expanded, it is really quite large, but it's well-designed--and often you won't need to look at more than one or two panels.

I travelled to Cuba In March 2017 - and I loved having this map!! I used it only for when I was in Havana. It had all the important spots that I wanted to see. Hotels, museums, bars, etc. I used this constantly while I was there! I'm also directionally challenged, so I paired it with my compass on my phone - and I was always able to find my way around.

I enjoyed the way the book is laid out
We are leaving for Cuba in 6 weeks. I enjoyed the way the book is laid out. I won't know until I get there on how accurate it is or how up to date.

Great for Cuba travel
Everything you need to travel Cuba is on this map. All of the points of interest, museums, etc. I left it in the Casa particular for the next traveler. Highly recommend this if you are headed to Cuba. Lamination keeps it new regardless of how you treat it and it folds up simple, contains all of Cuba on two sides.
