Pricey...But The Best Choice For Sure
I can tell you from experience that these bumpers are near impossible to find locally. (Make that completely impossible where I am). When I saw them on Amazon I decided to check out the local Home Depot and Lowes, for I was interested in getting them right away for what I was setting up. They not only didn't have them but had never even heard of them. And the other bumper selections they had in the stores was pathetic compared to these. These not only are really thick and "give" just perfectly when any weight comes down on them, but the sticky bottom is very strong and they don't move around or slide off, even if you're moving about and jostling whatever it is you are using them on. They have a very generous weight allowance, and , they come in a large variety of sizes to fit just about any job. These bumpers are the best and only choice in my opinion if you have something that you truly want to isolate or cushion. Especially audio or sound equipment of any kind. Nothing will isolate your good vibrations like these babies. They aren't cheap for sure, but they are top quality and the only choice as far as I am concerned for exactly what they are designed for... : )

Sticky, squishy, big and not bouncy.
Not as great as the hype. These pads are squishy and sticky, not unlike something unmentionable in polite society. The weight support rating on these is 45-60 pounds each. I have 4 under a 100 lb. subwoofer and they have spread out and squished down like this is a painful load. Isolation is there, but not as much as expected. Also, it is imperative to have some kind of protective surface to isolate these pads from whatever surface they touch. They will leave a sticky residue and perhaps discolor otherwise. They're OK, but I'm not a huge fan. Seems their calculations re support are a bit inflated.

Worked great for my turntable / receiver set-up!
I attached these to the feet of my turn table. I bought a new receiver and only had enough space to stack my turntable directly on top of my receiver. That is usually not a good idea because the receiver vents from the top and needs space to dissipate heat. These bumpers attached easily to the existing feet of my turntable and not only did they give me over 2 inches of clearance between the turntable and receiver, they solved the issue of having vibrations travel up to my turntable which could cause possible tracking issues. So now my receiver can breath and my turntable is isolated in terms of vibration feed back. The only drawback is that they are almost too soft and I had to delicately place the turntable in a way so that the bumpers would not tilt sideways. As long as you place them correctly and balance the weight distribution, these are perfect.

Takes the weight, likely helps isolate vibration
I installed these four vibration absorbers under a 90lb. balanced power unit. That weight is less than the minimum listed for these units, but more than specified for the 2-inch units. The absorbers are compressed about 20% so I assume they are in a reasonable working range. I hadn't noticed vibration from the unit (it contains a large transformer) but now it clearly won't vibrate the shelf, and the pieces of electronics that are on other shelves, in the rack where it is mounted. I use these absorbers, much small ones, under all my electronics. They don't cost very much in the small sizes and every little bit helps.

Very soft and absorbent but really too small for a rooftop-mounted A/C
Very soft and absorbent but really too small for a rooftop-mounted A/C. The description says 2.5", that's the diameter. The height is only 1.25 which is too small. What I really needed are a set of four cylinders made of this sorbothane, 2.5" in diameter AND 2.5" in height. Couldn't find them on Amazon, still searching for a real solution.

Top quality material and perfect fit!
These did the trick in propping my laptop cooler for optimal airflow. Also, they dampen vibration of two, 3000 RPM fans at max load very well. I paid $26 for a 4-pack and I wish they would come down a little lower since I would definitely buy them again if needed. I would hope in exchange for enough 5 ratings they'll boost demand and bring the price down a tad, ideally under $20. Nonetheless, I recommend these for small to medium sized electronic equipment or appliances. The material quality and durability, also, looks top notch which should last as long as the application you attach them to.

Incredibly amazing!
I put the 4 pods as an interface between the floor and my 3-way speakers (110 pounds each). The sound change significantly in low bass, midrange and treble also. This legitimate Sorbothane, Japanese invention, I use it since the nineties when I did a test with Audioquest Sorbothane mat on the plate of my Thorens TD 2001 turntable. Outstanding improvement to listen to my vinyl records. This product is absolutely necessary for those who love the music heard through High End equipment. Also, I bought another 4 pack that I will use under my power amp so that turning away any vibration and raise the chassis to improve air circulation.Excellent product that is really a must have. Highly recommended.

Too much weight and they self-destruct....
We placed these under bed posts to reduce noise my autistic son makes at night. I am sure we exceeded the weight capacity, because all four of them soon split as they got "mashed" between the floor and bed posts. Went with Industrial Silent Feet instead and they are working much better. Just watch the weight on these!

Great product to isolate vibrations....custom made for turntables
Worked as advertised, settled down my turntable which always jumped when I walked across a certain part of the floor.
