Holster not suitable for large frame semi-autos and it has defective stitching. Poor QC.
The stitching around the leather holding the IWB clip was very poor on one side as it was not tacked properly. I don't know if the stitching would continue to pull out if it was used as it is since the belt goes across it and presses against it, but the quality sure suffers with such poor stitching. The rest of the holster appears to be stitched okay. Apparently, a Quality Control issue. Someone is not checking the sewing process closely.I bought this for a S&W Model 659 9mm. There is no way the gun will fit into this holster without destroying the holster. I can get the barrel in up to just past the trigger guard and it will go no farther. I also tried my Glock 29 (Glock calls it a subcompact) and it would not fit either. The body of the Glock is wider than the S&W and I could not even get the trigger guard started into the holster. How anyone determined this holster was suitable for a large frame semi-auto is beyond me. Both of these pistols have large, square trigger guards. Now I am going to have to be out postage to return this improperly advertised and defective piece of merchandise to Holster World. The distance across the holster at the top is about 4 3/4 inches. Inside the stitching it is 3 7/8 inches. At the bottom it is about 3 7/8 inches. Inside the stitching it is 3 1/4 inches. The height is 2 7/8 inches. This is not suitable for a large frame pistol.8/13/2014 Addendum: Decided that I did not want to be out money to send this holster back, so bought a subcompact that I had been wanting, a Kahr CM9. This gun fits this holster quite well. The leather on this holster is fairly thick and so adds a bit of bulk. Again, I do not see how this holster is meant for larger weapons. The CM9 fits pretty good, but any gun larger than it would cause problems as far as I can tell.

I'd buy it again
This was a lot better than I expected for the money, and from a name I didn't recognize. It's a basic slide-type holster, belt slots on both sides plus a spring clip so it's ambi out of the box. The clip works for IWB use but isn't anywhere close to stable enough for OWB use- use the belt slots. BTW, the belt slots are 1-1/2" so the largest belt they will fit will be 1-1/4" or so.Construction is decent leather, nicely finished, a little less than 1/8" stock, but doubled up on everything but the clip tab so 1/4" mostly. Stitching isn't overly pretty, but looks like fairly heavy nylon or poly thread and is double-stitched fore and aft as it should be. Edges are properly finished with no catch points. It was flat out of the box (as expected) and required fitting before use. I used an airsoft 1911 as a mold, wet it down lightly, and wore it around the house for a few days and it broke in nicely. Choose your carry (L/R, IWB or OWB) and cant (fore/neutral/aft) before you start the break in and don't change it. Retention isn't on par with a tac holster but about typical for a slide.I'd buy it again.

Excellent IWB holster
As stated previously, this is an excellent holster for the price tag. Solid, good quality leather, strong stitching, and a good clip. It works exactly as advertised. I carry an M9 Beretta with it no proble, completely concealed. When you first get this holster it will be very flat. You need to mold it to your firearm you will be carrying. I wrapped the M9 saran wrap and secured it in a zip-lock bag. I then soaked the holster under a faucet with water, applied some isopropyl alcohol, holstered the weapon in it the way I wanted and at the right angle, and let it sit for a day. I then removed the gun and put the holster under a hot light for another day.I would caution when doing this to make sure the holster is completely dry. Otherwise it will be an excellent source for corrosion on your weapon. This holster does not lock the weapon in place, but it does hold it firmly enough for you to run with it. Just no exreme stunts.

A sturdy piece of workmanship...
It is a sturdy piece of leather workmanship for the price and the clip is strong and looks nice. On the down side, I had to scrape a slight track on the inside for the magazine release button, on my 1911 Government, otherwise the magazine could accidentally be released at an inopportune moment. It is also slightly difficult to reholster, it usually requires me to use both hands since I use it IWB. However, considering that my state requires the use of a holster when carrying concealed, and I am on a very tight budget, it is acceptable for use and at an affordable price point. Just take this info into consideration.

I wouldn't recommend for a small of back holster as it tends to fit loose and flop back and forth and or protrude high enough that even with an open button up shirt, it is still pretty noticeable.. I did have better success using it anywhere in the 2-5 o clock range and still being concealed.. It does fit my Mil spec 1911 quite well, and is fairly comfortable to wear which is a huge bonus..

Ok for some people I guess but just not my type of holster quality is good but was a little different than the picture showed but if u can get a holster that’s molded specifically for your gun go that route you will be much happier

A versatile and rugged holster. Fits BT380(w/laser) and full size 1911.
Everything good. Features thick leather, heavy duty stitching, and suede lining. A quality product. With a little wet forming, it fits my Bersa 380 with Armalaser TR16 laser like a glove(IWB/OWB). And still fits my GSG 1911, which was what I bought it for(OWB). Would recommend, especially to BT 380/TR16 owners.Best: Versatility and durability. Not so much: Does not have belt slots on clip side as shown. Didn't need them, so no harm, no foul.Consult Youtube for wet forming basics.

Awesome holster
It was a little loose at first, but once I broke it in, like any holster, it was great. I'm a very active person and found that because I sweet so much, it actually sweeter the gun in the holster, and now it's just like a professional leather holster. It fits my pistol perfectly. It's the right price and definitely the right product. Very slim and easy to conceal. I use it to carry an AMT Hardballer concealed every day, and I'm a smaller guy. I don't have much real estate to waste around my waste, but this holster helps me get the job done!
