Mmmmmm
I take Probiotics every day. It is very important to alternate exactly which strains of Probiotics you take every month. My usual brands are Bioglan Ultimate Flora, which delivers 20 billion multi strains PB's without the need for refrigeration. I also use Bio Kult Advanced Multi-Strain PB. They deliver 14 strains of PB's and can be stored without refrigeration. Both brands cost a lot less per capsule and deliver a bigger punch of PB than this product. It is marketed as a PB to be used in Asia, but I would use the same strains in any country. In fact, this particular strain is used in Germany to stop diarrhea. It can be bought in packs of 90 tablets on Amazon for around £11. This particular tablet costs £12.99 for 20 tablets and does not offer good value. I feel the RRP of this product is way too high, given that the product is widely available without the marketing hype of suitable for Asia.I cannot see why anyone would take these tablets over the others that are available at a lower cost. I always have two packs of 90 when I travel abroad, to stop any stomach problems. Personally, I cannot recommend this product as it is too expensive.

Great Supplement but Not Great Value
The blurb on the product description about why and how these probiotics have been formulated for Asia specifically doesn't do enough to convince me that this warrants the very high price for such a low dose, or that these will truly serve you any much better than any alternative probiotic with a similar number of strains and amount of bacteria which hasn't been developed geographically - of which there are many available and many at a much more cost effective price. Perhaps they are also marketed as being ideal for travel due to being just 20 capsules in a flat insert so you can take just the right amount with you as opposed to whole a bottle of capsules. Personally, I'd go for better value by just buying a bottle of regular probiotics for a better price and then packing enough for my travels in a pill box or similar.Either way, it has to be said that there are more affordable options for in essence the same product.None the less, the probiotics are otherwise great - they have everything you would want from any good probiotic as stated on the product page (9 live strains with 20 billion friendly bacteria, with the 20 million split between 10 million friendly bacteria and the same amount for yeast) and there's no gluten, dairy, GMO or wheat, no added sugar, sweetener or artificial flavours and they are also vegan friendly - so they are very accessible which is another plus point. The capsules are a standard size for a probiotic and easy to swallow if you're used to these kind of supplements.A four star supplement with a star taken away for the heavy price.

Essential For Travel To Asia
I know from speaking to other travellers that fascinating and beautiful as Asia is the first couple of days in particular have the shine taken off of them as Western tummies try to deal with spicier food than they’re used to and sometimes hygiene standards that would never be allowed in the West. Even in properly run food establishments just the change to a more exotic diet can make the start of your holiday almost like Russian roulette and trust me, as a victim of “Bali Belly “ last year , exploring the local rest rooms when there are far more interesting attractions is no fun.As I type this I’m still on my latest Asian adventure and for the first time in too many years my usual emergency pack of Loperamide sits untouched in my bag. To put it delicately my digestive system is functioning as it should and I feel confident enough to have been enjoying the local food from day one rather than sticking to pizza for a few days as I used to until my system stabilised.Probio 7 specialise in Probiotic capsules for travel and this particular product is Asia specific with a lot more of the friendly bacteria than their regular ones. They’re GMO and Gluten free and suitable for Vegans.I can’t speak too highly of these capsules, finally I’ve been able to sample local food without worry from day 1 and in small outlets as well when it previously has been sticking to the big Malls at the start of my trips specifically because it wasn’t a good idea to eat very far from a nearby rest room. I’d recommend these to anyone travelling to Asia. When you travel a long way to experience a fantastic part of the world it’s a chore to put it mildly if stomach troubles impact in any way on your enjoyment.
