Star Wars Battery Operated Yoda With LED Light Saber and On/Off Button Tree Topper - Uses 3 "AA" Batteries (Not Included)

When my son and I saw this as we were making our Amazon Christmas wish lists we both thought it was so cool. I told him I'd see and maybe an elf would bring one.Luckily enough one did and we had it in enough time we got to enjoy it the whole season.Yoda is crafted and painted with awesome detail which I had worried about based on some reviews. I was very happy with the quality overall. The light saber glows a bright green and is powered by a power cord that was plenty long enough to reach where I had the tree's lights plugged in.

It was a big surprise for the family to have Yoda on top of our tree, and they love it. If you are a Star Wars fan, or just a fan of Sci-fi in general, then this is the tree topper for you.The face and hands of Yoda are surprisingly realistic, and when the room is dark you can see the glow off of his green lightsaber shine on his face and upper body. It's a pretty cool effect.The five stars are also for the seller. I paid extra for two day shipping. When I received Yoda one of the LEDs in his lightsaber was not working. I contacted the seller, and they overnighted another one to me. They include a return label already in the box, and it was prepaid.I highly suggest this seller and Master Yoda!

When Yoda is on the tree, it looks amazing with the lightsaber lit up. The dark side deals with taking him out of the box, the paint, at least on mine, was a little drab and sparse in spots. It looks like it was rushed and for 50+ bucks, I am expecting a pretty decent paint job. All in all, I am pleased, I made a star wars fan happy and made a tree look sexy with all of those Midi-chlorians sitting at the top.

This Christmas tree-topper is awesome! I mean, it is Yoda after all. The green light saber lights up, and overall he's pretty big. I want to say he's almost a foot in length. He makes for a great topper, but the only problem is is that he is top-heavy, and needs some good branch support to hold him in place and keep him from toppling over. The entire bottom is open so you can easily fit multiple branches in there, but because of the large opening, it doesn't fit snuggly on top of the tree at all, so it may take some adjusting of your tree to get him to stay on top. You know Yoda, always jumping around and such.

We really loved this, for the 3 weeks that it worked. Noticed on Dec 23rd it didn't light up, 2 days before Christmas of course. Returning it and getting another for next year, hope it works longer. It was great for 3 weeks though!

update:Ok, about a year has gone by with our beloved Yoda tree topper. He worked beautifully all last season. This season, we put him back on top of the tree, all appeared to be in good order for about a week. Just yesterday, his light-saber started flickering and dimming. By the end of the day, it was completely out.I'm so sad about this, as he was an adorable addition to our tree. But, I wouldn't trust the quality. Back to the drawing board!original:What a great tree topper! I have to admit, I was a little bit skeptical when I bought this for my husband. But, it really looks cute on our tree.

I've been waiting and hoping that this would go on sale at some point but decided it was now or never since the new movie would probably drive prices up. The item arrived quickly and well packaged. The item itself is very sturdy and looks great when lit. Love that I can plug it in so I don't have to worry about batteries. Will try to upload some pics once we have the Christmas tree up and running. This item could easily be used as a decoration year round since it does not have anything that would automatically make it a Christmas only decoration.

It looks alright on top of the tree and connects to your Christmas lights. The star has exposed wiring on back so this is only good for a tree that is against the wall. If your tree is in the center of the room then this is not for you. It is thin plastic, but the star is would be too heavy if it was not made this way.PRO:1. It is a Star Wars Tree Topper2. This is a great tree topper. It's great for anyone wanting a Geeky theme to their tree! He is a bit top heavy but if you make sure to settle him well on the tree, you'll have no issues.
