These stools are comfortable and perfect for a kitchen counter. They are packed well and even come with the tool to put it together that's sturdy enough to use so you don't have to raid your toolbox for an Allen wrench. I bought two then liked them so much I bought two more.

I am happy with assembly and durability, but it’s not a standard size seat, and all the cushions for them on Amazon are too big! Anyone else have luck finding a cushion that is 9x17 for them?

These stools look great at my kitchen island and they were quick and easy to assemble. They seem pretty sturdy when tightened them up. The width and curve of the seat makes it actually fairly comfortable even without a cushion or a back. I like the minimalist rustic look, and they don’t take up a lot of space, they mostly tuck under the overhang of the island. I like the walnut color, it’s a dark slightly reddish brown, it coordinates well with dark chestnut accents, and distressed barnwood flooring. Very good value for the price.

I am so pleased with these stools, which were purchased for my kitchen bar counter. Solid wood. Heavy but not too heavy. Very well made and easy to put together. The metal on the foot brace was a nice surprise as were the actual wood caps to cover the screw holes. Highly recommend.

We purchased two sets of these to add around a counter height table for when we have additional folks over. They are packed really well in the boxes and well protected. Assembly was easy, and I ended up using my impact driver to speed things up. Just take it easy on the torque; I hand tightened with the supplied Allen key. They are completely solid and stable with no wobble or wiggle. I would suggest leaving the bolts a little loose until you can place it on a level surface to get all four feet flat, then tighten it up. I'll give bonus kudos for the metal protective strip on the one crossbar. Since people's feet always rub them, it's the first area to wear off the finish. This prevents that from happening. They even came with felt feet protectors. The only minor knock is they aren't very deep, so your butt can tend to hang off a bit if not perfectly positioned, but I actually appreciate the compactness of these over a larger seat. We only use these occasionally, so a small footprint is ideal in our case.
