Fits KitchenAid G4 bulb in puck lights in range hood exhaust but better choices exist.
This bulb fits our KitchenAid over the range exhaust fan hood, it's very warm and not a 3000K color nor is its 1.5w equivalent to 10w appearance. I have used this bulb before and it looks very different side by side. I installed this new one next to the older working bulb, its a lot dimmer and more flicker. The older one flickered some but not like this one. This 33184 bulb is supposed to be a newer version of the 03184. If it's new, it's not improved. It's worse. It flickers so much that if you wave your hand under it, it has that strobe light affect where you see slow motion trails of your hand. Too bad because the space in the puck lights for the range hood fan is very specific and its tough to find an LED G4 10 or 20w halogen equivalent to fit, work, and also allow the glass cover to go back on. This is perfect size as is the older one. I tried tons of bulbs that did not fit or work. If you have similar puck lights in a range exhaust fan, I'd go with the G4 type, old version bulb 03184 by Westinghouse or if you want brighter and whiter but not over powering, try the AMAZING POWER G4 LED Bulb, 12V JC Bi Pin Bulb, 20W Halogen Bulb Replacement, Daylight White 6000K, 5-Pack. Its ac/dc. 1.5w.Fits perfect and only has tiny flicker that's not noticeable. Cost less too.I've spent so much time and money on bulbs that didnt fit or work and hope someone benefits from this and saves time and money searching

Perfect LED replacement for 10W Halogen
I have some VERY small flush mounted "puck" style light fixtures at the top of art nooks in my house and have tried 3 other LED lamps that I thought would fit, but they were all too long or too fat to fit behind the glass lens in the tiny fixtures. These are slightly larger than the tiny Halco 10 Watt T3/G4 120 lumen bulbs that I've been using, but they fit in my puck fixtures! The light is very even and perfectly matches the halogen bulbs - I can't even tell which ones have been replaced! They match the halogen light temperature perfectly. Finally - no more hot halogen bulbs - Perfect.
