This forged knife made with German steel is better than any stamped knife available in India. I recommend it to any one who wants to purchase it for household purpose .costlier knifes in Henckels will have better steel quality,sharper retaining edges and better handles.Forged knifes lasts longer if maintained properly

My husband has been wanting a HENCKELS knife for a decade, he even went so far as to order a set once but ended up with counterfeits. I was very leery about ordering this for the same reason, but did my research and these are the real deal. The difference was obvious as soon as we got it delivered too. This knife is unbelievable! I've never seen craftsmanship quite like this before. WOW! Worth the money and if you can get one while it's on sale DO IT!!! We got a great deal on ours during Prime days around the holiday and I think we saved 40 or 50 % of what these go for. The knife is incredibly well balanced, sharp, and makes food prep so enjoyable! This knife in particular is a perfect size for my husband, he's pretty tall, and this fits in his grip well. It's really a well made, durable, and beautiful knife. I think we'll be ordering this brand in perpetuity. Like I said, if you can get a good deal - don't miss out!!

Henckels has always made amazing knives, especially the hand forged ones, which you can tell since it only has the "one man" symbol. The "two man" means it's machine made and aren't as good. If you want a great chef's knife, look no further! They are strong, sharp, and will last forever with the full tang, triple riveted handle. This one is made in Spain, not China, so you know it's quality!

I don't have a lot of experience with NICE knives so this review is from the perspective of someone who has only ever used whatever knives my parents had. Like whatever Costco is selling on a block kinda thing.Bought this knife as a gift for my bf and I think it's awesome. It's super sharp, can be used for all kinds of things. I looked up a lot of reviews and articles etc. before going with this knife and I am really really happy with it. My bf loves it. He uses it for everything.There's still some resistance when cutting a butternut squash or something like that but it has made preparing food SO MUCH EASIER and SO MUCH SAFER. Plus, I can cut tomatoes without squishing them!

Not much to report, it's very sharp and true when it cuts.
