very basic
I personally found nothing of use in this book. 125 tanks and tank destroyers are listed in a somewhat alphabetical order. For example, British cruiser tanks are listed in order by their "A" numbers, but the TOG super heavy tank suddenly pops into the sequence before the "b" tanks start. They are not divided by dates/periods, nationality or type. Information is generic and minimal providing little useful information about the tanks. Information is compressed, for example, the entire Soviet BT series of tanks are given in one article (and it is erroneously called a "medium tank", whereas it is a light or fast tank). The technical data provided is of little value (i.e. only the tank's maximum armor is listed). It does, however, have some nice pictures and the paper quality is good.

Tanks
As I had picture postcards of several World War 1 tanks, I needed a reference to give me more information. This book fit the bill perfectly
