Great fun and worth the money
Bought this and some of the other aerobie range for me and the kids. They are great fun but be prepared to do a lot of running after the boomerang. Not a good choice for a windy day.My 3 yr old loves watching this thing shoot up into the sky and (most of the time) come shooting back. This is much more expensive than a plastic frisbee but the edges are rubber so it can take more punishment. I have not tested its durability much as I don't want to break it, but its flexible not brittle like plastic so seems like it will last.Do not chuck this thing anywhere near trees or you will surely lose it.Best technique ive found is to throw it forehand and angle it slighly upwards as you release otherwise it tends to fall short on the return. I will master this thing yet !

Tricky to master but fun.
I can’t pretend we have the technique for this totally sorted but we are having a lot of fun trying. We have a big open park area near us which is perfect for this. You do need lots of open space and some perseverance. It’s easier than a boomerang, but still needs to be thrown a certain way, which none of us have really perfected yet, but it comes back round to us if we space ourselves round so can work for a game. If you want something for accuracy then a frisbee is easier but this is fun and has got us all outside and moving. Would make an idealstocking filler for older child.

Great fun learning the technique
It’s very fun to practice and hone the skill of getting it to come back to you. My arm has been aching for the last two days duo to the endless throwing. They do seem to have put strong tree magnets in this thing. Need to make sure you have a wide circle all around you to stop it going into a tree; this includes behind you.Wish they offered the other two colours so that it’s clearer if you have two of them whose is whose.

Good but not great
While easier to throw than other boomerangs, learning how to throw this right, isn't easy task. Both myself and my teen kid we tried with this and we got some level of success after watching videos, but we can't say if it's our technique or it just won't work. After a few days of playing with it, we just accepted it's fun as is and just have a go with it. Weeks later we bought a plastic boomerang (shaped like a seven) and that works slightly better, we manage to get that to return fairly consistently, however as a plus this Orbiter is easier to throw and requires less power, so it might work better for younger kids. It looks durable enough to withstand many wrong throws - it has done so far for the past 4 weeks (including hitting some hard things, walls), so it can take a beating but not very sure if it would be good for playing with a dog, for example.

Wow does this thing fly
So on the very first throw with a bit of wind, the Aerobie flew higher than 40ft and over 200ft across a field.Stay away from trees and other people as it has a mind of it's own. This thing will fly.On the next few throws I had to be gentle and the Aerobie came back, just not to me. The Aerobie will keep you on your toes and moving.Fun for all ages

This is an absolute animal!
Until you use this, you'd never believe what a Boomerang could do! I tested this on my cricket field which has a Football pitch attached to it, so it is quite a sizable area. When properly released, it went on a circle of about 160 meter diameter. I must say, it is very addictive and i got carried away until it landed on the roof of the club house. Safely retrieved, on its last trip it landed into a tree and I never saw it again. It is well made with a soft silicone shell on a rigid core. You can tweak the angle of the fins to change the angle of attack of the leading edges which changes the size of the circle it has to travel and also the height. But you do need a massive land area free of trees, pets and people to play with this. Although it is soft on the touch, it could hurt someone when it is chucked at a good speed.Overall, a lot of fun and a must have if you like playing outdoors.

This thing covers distance
So i ve been out twice with this the very first throw yes the very first thow saw me looking for it in the trees i lost it for hours and found it at the top of a 40ft tree and managed to get it out. The second time i landed on someones back garden and i managed to get it back. The bottom line is this thing will cover massive distances it will climb too i think ive had it well above 60ft theres definitely a knack to throwing it dont thow this with all the effort you can or you will lose it. You definitely need a vast area to get used to this somewhere like the salt flats in America will do and be prepared to do some walking to fetch it

Great
I used this as a dog toy, I have a very energetic dog that loves to chase things but doesn't like to give them back so this is perfect for us.I'm a southpaw and this can only be thrown right handed or over the shoulder backwards but it simple enough that learning with my right took no time at all.It doesn't get misshapen while my dog carrys it in her mouth and cleans up really easily.
