If I was to turn these on 3x/night w/out timer on full power,how long do the batteries last?

I have left them on for 5 nights by accident before and they are still going with Dollar General brand batteries.

You could replace whatever the included mounting strips are velcro Command Strips. I've done that with similar battery powered remote LED lights and it works well. Everything is completely removable with no damage.

Do you have to touch to turn it on, or can you operate it exclusively with the remote? Considering putting it somewhere hard to reach.

You can operate them fully with the remote.
