Super sharp filet knife. I haven't owned it very long yet so I can't attest to how long the sharpness lasts, but this knife arrived razor sharp. I purchased this to filet my own deer meat for freezing and it just slices through so easily, I'm very impressed. I also really like the grip, it feels nice and ergonomic and doesn't slip around in my hand and is easy to hold for a long time, its big enough that my hand doesn't cramp around it.

Nice grip and seems sharp enough. Stiff blade for cutting through bait as intended, to stiff for filleting panfish. Cover locks on and off easily

Great knife, nothing wrong with the knife itself, my only "complaint" and I hesitate to use that word is the sheath has no way to attach the knife to anything. There is no clip or belt loop on the sheath. The knife does have a lanyard hole which is handy but it would be nice to attach it somehow while you're out fishing. I bought this for trout fishing so I have to stick it in my chest pocket of my waders which is not a great spot or way to keep the knife. Other than this the knife itself is amazing! Very versatile three part blade, time will tell on the edge retention.

I got this for my husband for an early Father's Day present. He loves it!! I had bought him the 8" blade recently for larger fish and he likes that, so I surprised him with this one for our smaller pan fish. We love the protective case for it and it was nice and sharp for a quick cleaning session.

I bought this knife when I was in the process of setting up a new Tackle Bag as my old Tackle Box had seen better days and that old kitchen knife I was using just wasn't cutting it anymore, this knife is extremely sharp so USE CAUTION seriously, it cut through frozen squid like it was nothing and cut through other baits without an issue, highly recommended if you fish and need a knife to cut bait, fillet a fish or whatever it may be, you won't be dissapointed.

I used this just now to spatchcock my turkey. It was super-duper easy. I like the grip on it, especially working with slippery meat. My only complaint is that I should have found it sooner.

Another quality product from KastKing. Definitely worth the $22 paid. Could be sharper out of the box but that’s not an issue. Would for sure buy again.
