Window Privacy Film: I highly recommend this product!
This solar protection film for windows is a great product! It provides privacy during the day with a reflective mirror, in the evening use curtains because it no longer provides privacy. Protects the internal environment from excessive external heat.Arm yourself with patience, this is a job for the precise! The package comes complete with everything you need:- Film of the color you have chosen (I chose Silver)- Cutter- Spray container- Spatula to remove bubbles- Instructions- Stickers to remove the transparent film from the mirrored film.Tips:- Do this job when the sun is not shining against the window you want to work on.- Use a cutting board, draw the parts you want to cut and use a permanent marker to trace the perimeters you want to cut.- Be precise in the cuts.- Spray a lot of water on both surfaces: the window glass and the surface of the mirrored film, it will help you better position the cut piece. Don't worry if you mess up, you can easily remove it, add another splash of water and reposition.- Squeegee from the center outward to remove all bubbles.- Wipe with a clean, dry rag to remove any remaining bubbles if necessary.Enjoy!I highly recommend this product and will be purchasing it again for my remaining windows.

Best ever
Well believe it or not, I'd order this window cover last year but the townhouse decided to do a massive remodeling of everything including the windows. So now that all done I had my son to put it on.This is the best thing ever. I can see out and still get sun in but no one can see in until night time which is ok cause I just closed my blinds. If you need some privacy maybe kids in the area this is what you should get.

Take your time. Unroll film slowly as you apply squeegee
This window film works as advertised and I really like it for a front door installation. That said, the installation instructions could be more detailed for those of us who don't do this often. I suggest detaching the back side a little at a time. Not all at once. This makes it easier to use the scraper to remove air and water bubbles as you go. The film is sticky and will crease if you go too quickly. My installation was about 2x4ft. I chose blue. It looks great from the inside and blocks view into my house during daylight. At night, there's a little view into my house but it isn't a problem due to the long entry way. It's a much cleaner look than blinds or curtains.

Great product, does exactly what I needed it to do
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for my entire house as the front and back have a tremendous amount of light and heat coming in, also for privacy. They cut down about 2°f-3°f as well as almost all the glare from walls and surfaces (I can actually watch TV without the glare lol). The house does a better job at staying cool as well, it looks like the sunsets and raise about 2 hours earlier/later is the best way I can describe it and it actually gets cold (which in May in Texas is huge) My significant other is actually able to sleep in now as well on her days off which is a big win as well. I’ll have to compare in a few months what the difference is in my bills. The privacy is also a huge bonus, my front door has a window and that allows people to see all the way to the back of the house and I’ve had solicitors put their face up to the glass numerous times to look in. This almost stop that completely as if they press they’re faces up and cup their face they can still see outlines inside (especially since I have a big window parallel to the door) but that doesn’t happen often at all. My parents liked it so much they had me install the film on their font door as well for the same reasons. You can’t see out at night very well but people can see in so just be aware of that blinds are life saversThe only thing I would say during install is use a lot of spray and for bigger pieces have help as it we’ll want to move on you. I’d also recommend getting a credit card a tint tool as it works better then the squeegee provided. Heat guns helps get the excess bubbles out and the help the ends that won’t stay down. Clean the window really well like extremely well, I had a window that unfortunately the previous owner got over spay on when painting and it’s viable on the tint, not what you want.all in all I spent maybe $450 on these films and had minimum issues, time will be the true test on how effective they are. From my research it takes roughly 3-4 years to see a ROI and most films last 6-7 years so we’ll find out then. Definitely a good DIY weekend project.

Very pretty!
This was very pretty. It was super easy to install. The only drawback was that you can’t see out the window at all once you install this. As beautiful as it was I chose to take it down and buy a see through film. It would be perfect for a window that you don’t need to look out of.

Easy to apply & great price for what you get!
Finally tinted my garage door windows and mad I waited so long! Love the added privacy during the day, but even more is that it cuts down the temp in the garage on the hot days! Comes with everything you need, Fairly easy to apply once I got the hang of what worked for me!

This is not a one person job
It’s an ok product. Installing it is pretty difficult and takes 2-4 people or moreThe film is also pretty sticky and even though I used tons of water and squeegeed for a very long time. There was still wrinkles and air bubbles.

I still have the view but with privacy!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Film look like manufactured pictures. Make sure you have very clean windows even the corners, also needed a large ruler, thin marker and a large surface to accommodates your measurements. I did it by myself but having and extra set of hands would be better & faster. I'm very happy with the results it had darker the brighter afternoon sunlight.
