Nice knife , not very sharp out of the box. I would have given it 5 stars but the belt clip is so stiff I can't get it on my belt so it's a pocket knife now. It's light weight the assisted opening is fantastic there even a safety lock so the knife can't deploy accidentally. Also I assume it's acts as a blade lock when open.. it's a painted knife so it will scratch easily. Like I said it could have been 5 stars if not for the stiff belt clip. I'll look into ways to adjust it once I consult my mechanic friend. Maybe heating it will take some temperature out of it. Okay update,, I just jammed an old belt under the clip and pulled it up a bit the stretch it. Works great now ... Knife gets 5 stars!!

Great build quality. Strong spring, I would rank it as nice as a Benchmade. I have been in Law Enforcement for 24 years. I have thousands of dollars in Benchmade. I started looking for good quality auto knives I can use and abuse and not waste a bunch of money. 8 am not affiliated with the seller and normally do not write positive reviews. But this knife looks and feels great. Not a cheap China made looking knife, that you would expect for the price. 8 has so pleased I have already showed other guys at work, and they all agreed. Great solid almost perfect looking. No blemishes, scratches or flaws I can see. I bought another the next day, in case they disappeared. That's how great this knife is. No BS. I am a picky SOB. And look for every flaw. This knife has no wiggle, sold blade and string action. But it looks and feels even better.

So I also have the Benchmade model of this knife and was able to do a side by side comparison. At nearly 1/8th the cost I was impressed. after long term use it does not hold a edge quite as well as the Benchmade however it’s is easy to bring it back after a couple quick passes in a stone. This has become my daily work knife and my Benchmade is my going out knife. Several of my friends have bought this same knife after examining mine.

It just arrived today. Looks really nice and feels good and worked good. I decided to put some rubbing alcohol on a piece of paper towel and clean off the blade before I carry it. The blade faded as it dry. So disappointed. ☹️

I was pleasantly surprised to find this HUAAO 7.7” Assisted Opening Push Button is a strong value for its price (it copies a popular design). Well put together, good metal tolerances, strong spring on a button spring assist (it makes good use of its glide lock), handsome finish. A few drops of oil into the mechanism out of the box and it works smooth as silk for me, frankly, much better than hoped for the money. I think you'll use it more than you expect.

Good knife for the price.
