This little gadget is without doubt the best purchase I have ever made on Amazon (and I’ve made a few) I was very sceptical on the ability of this tiny device but it performed on a whole new level. The first meeting I had lasted 2 hours and I was meeting with Spanish speakers so there was some broken English which was understandable. The recordings were clear and when uploaded the AI transcript and summary was mind blowing! It was so accurate and well summarised giving a tick box action list at the end. This for me is an absolute game changer with a full web integration and cloud storage. For the price you will not find anything like this. I was genuinely amazed by what this can do.

This is an excellent item. I have been using a few months and the voice recording is superb. Simple to use and been really clear. The genius of the device is with its AI features using the Plaud AI app you can convert your voice recording into different forms from a transcript to even a really accurate summary of notes that’s excellent for staff meetings. The app does have a subscription model for extra minutes (you get allocated so many per month on the free plan) and I haven’t really gone over the free amount. However, it is something to consider.

Surprisingly good. Microphones are excellent. Call recording work very well. Mag holder (included) is a nice touch. Only gripe is the cost of transcribing. 300 mins included in ‘free’ subscription but I’ve found the transcription to be excellent and the ability to buy more minutes is a nice touch.But where this loses a star is in the Ai integration. The Ai summaries are poor for long meetings, you need to be very careful. My solution is to copy the transcription into another Ai LLM and use it to generate better summary.The mind-mapping is a gimmick.Suggestion to Plaud is to focus on the parts of the product that work really well.

I am an engineer and spent a lot of time writing notes, scribbling them out, trying to jot down important points from the conversation and trying to make sense of these after the call. I am also fed up of writing long emails. My initial impression of this device is very high. I have had it transcribe both technical discussions and emails to my boss. The most impressive feature is that the A.I removes hesitation markers or filled pauses. It also adds the correct punctuation in most cases. This is going to be a game changer for me even if I end up having to pay for a subscription. You can just copy the transcribed text, edit if necessary and email. I am also going to make good use of my Plaud to record technical ideas and be able to add these to word documents etc.

The item as usual arrived promptly from Amazon.The Plaud Note application was the issue for me. You have to enter a username and password as per any application. The difference is that this app would not accept my passwords. I did reset them multiple times with different ones, but something went wrong with the Plaud back-end systems, and I could never login. This, for me, rendered the hardware useless.I contacted Plaud support but to say they didn't grasp the issue and couldn't help me is an understatement.They asked me to login (That was the issue as their systems wouldn't let me login) So I rejected the goods and sent them back to Amazon for a full refund as basically, the device was a very expensive paperweight.Plaud has grown massively recently, so this is a sign that its backend system and customer support are struggling.One thing to note is that the AI features according to the box are only for 3 months so it looks like you have to pay a subscription after that point. I wouldn't know as the system wouldn't let me login.I purchased this on Amazon Prime Day so now the cost has gone up by 20% so I won't buy a replacement even if Plaud sort out my login.Also to note is the time for Plaud to respond to a ticket its way too long.

Its accuracy is impressive, and it handles tasks like meetings or lecture notes with ease. Sending yourself notes is simple and convenient, which is a nice touch. Sound quality is great. Have only had it for a week so can’t comment on the battery life.

I use this for meetings and lectures......it makes the use of 'whisper' very easy and painless. In fact, I am so impressed with the ease of use that I have recommended it to others who are not that computer savvy.The way it can take a 5 hour lecture and summarise it so easily is amazing.........you can also search the whole lecture via a keyword for certain information...whilst you 'may' be able to do this for free (it is not easy to find out how to do this), I would absolutely recommend buying this for the ease of use. If you understand the power of chatgpt, then you will understand the power of this and its ease of use.
