Expensive but premium build, design and sound make it worth it.Heavy though compact, slightly chunkier than old Walkmans. Partly metal body and the orange gold version called Serg is an object of beauty. I use it via Bluetooth along with small JBL speaker on trips and at home sitting next hi fi separates to enable revisiting the cassette tape collection. Solid unit with decent sound reproduction. Only gripe is that connecting wireless headphones is a bit hit and miss. However, build quality compensates for any niggles

Everyone know that there is only one company still making cassette mechanisms. This has it (because if that is all they can get then they are pretty much stuck with it). However they have specked it up to the max. This sounds decent. It is no Nachamichi Dragon but it it probably the best you are going to get in 2025. It also has Bluetooth so you can pair it to your headphones/speakers and the build quality is solid. Definitely not a plastic piece of rubbish. Is it worth the money, probably not but is it by far the best attempt at a decent tape player/recorder in the last 5 years then definitely. You can spend your money on much worse.
