Q: Online the red pillows look orange, are they or are they true red?

I never had red….I bought orange and they were true to color shown

Q: How large is the zippered opening?

We found that the measurements listed were half an inch to an inch more than what the covers actually were--our 18" covers were closer to 17.0 - 17.5." So, the zippered opening was around 13 inches. That said, the pillows we already had fit inside just fine.

Q: Are these waterproof for outside ?

No, I wouldn’t put these outside. They are soft corduroy. Very nice for indoor use. In fact, I have several sizes in different colors.
