I would be lost without it!
When I bought my surface, I was going from a desktop and laptop to a small device. I had no idea how I was going to use flash drives and external mouse & keyboard. This device has been my godsend. It works better than the seller promised. Thank you!

DID NOT FIT
Flat out did not fit. I specifically checked my surface's system settings to make sure I was buying the right product for the right model surface. So imagine my surprise when the usb prong was too far up and wouldnt fit. I said screw it and bent it myself against a table, its crooked as hell and only goes on half way but my computer picks up so it's technically useable??I WOULD RECOMMEND A DIFFERENT ONE OF THESE ADAPTER HUBS

Network connection without problems
This device is a relief! After hours of frustration trying to keep a wireless connection to my home network on a Surface Pro 4, I needed a method for a wired connection, and this device did the trick. Having two USB ports is an added plus since I usually need just one more after using one for my wireless mouse receiver. This is a much better solution than the $199 docking device from Microsoft. I'm happy with this device. It arrived quickly and installed with no issues.UPDATE - the LAN connection stopped working the first time I shut down the computer. After several attempts at troubleshooting and trying to fix the problem, I'm returning the device for a replacement.
