good addition for base game if price is right.
adds more to an already great game try to buy it on sale because it's not much extra for the price.

An essential expansion
This expansion adds so much to the base game. I didn't think that it was needed at first but the nuanced ways it improves the base game are interesting. I never play the game now without this expansion. If you like the original Ancient Knowledge game then this will not disappoint.

An interesting game
So far I've only played solo to learn the mechanics. It provides some interesting and unique mechanics I'm looking forward to playing with some opponents.

Not for me
I played it once and was not a fan. It’s easy to run out of cards but you need cards as a type of currency to place monument cards. It seemed very luck driven. Overall I could tell it wasn’t for me. Others may love it.
