Customer Service
I gave Alarm Clock model MHP6010-DC a 5 star rating due to its Design, Quality, Service and CostDesignThe shape is very pleasant and allows for large numerals that can be dimmed as desired. The ability to control the volume of the alarm is also important to me.By placing the numerous Buttons on the back, where they are hidden from normal view, they leave the product with a sleek and uncluttered look. They also made the clock easy to read, while still partially asleep or while setting it, by displaying either “AM” or “PM” and also a Bell icon when the alarm is set. Thus eliminating doubt or questions of how it is set.QualityThe housing is very well fitted making it difficult to even see how it was constructed. To me, a test of good quality product is how the “battery cover’ is designed and manufactured. This one passes my test. The “Owners Manual” is written on large enough paper and with contracting ink to be actually able to be read! This to me shows pride in their product and is a pet peeve of mine when not readable for us older citizens.ServiceTheir Contact information is written on both the front and back pages of the manual with contrasting printing and NOT hidden in fine print or non existent. This, for me, is a test of good Customer Service and frankly this is an exception in my experience and demonstrates their pride in their product. This same information is also printed on the back of the unit itself so one does NOT need to look for the lost or missing manual to be able to contact the seller. It is also screen printed and not just a label that will get dirty and smudged or an after though.I needed to contact them due to Customer Error, and NOT Product Issue, and found them to be extremely responsive and helpful in hours, not days and this was over the weekend! All of the above is why I gave them 5 stars.

nice bright numbers, easy to adjust
This Peakeep clock replaces a similar-sized red LED clock that lived by our TV. Compared to the old clock, the numbers on this one seem crisp and clear, versus kind of red and fuzzy. The new display is blue, but it's a pleasant light blue, not the kind of hyper blue LED that makes you want to put on welding goggles. The new clock has five brightness levels, plus "off". Brightness level 2 seems to work well, staying visible in direct sun without being too bright in the evening. Level 2 is still pretty bright when the room is dark, however. Level 5 is way bright. The Peakeep clock is easy to adjust, with eight buttons in a row across the back. Lettering on the back explains how to use the controls, so you really don't need any instructions. The lettering is white on black, and easy to read. There are plus and minus buttons for adjusting the time or the alarm, so its' easy to get to the right time.We don't use the alarm feature, but one drawback is the "off" button for the alarm is one of those eight buttons, and it's the same size and round shape as the others. While the brightness button is on the left end of the buttons, the alarm button is third from the right. I guess you'd get used to it. There's also a "snooze" bar across the top. The "off" button at the right end of the snooze bar, probably easy to find with a little practice. The new clock is a featherweight compared to the old red LED clock. The old clock was getting kind of ancient, and had an internal transformer, so just a power cord, no "wall wart". The Peakeep clock has a wall wart power supply, eliminating the heavy transformer, and also using less juice. The old clock had a front panel with number keys, so you could just type in the exact time you wanted. All the controls were in front, with the panel being angled like a keyboard below the display. Seems cool, but it was not too intuitive how to enter "set" mode, so it usually took trial and error to set the time. I didn't see anything similar when I searched for the new clock. The row of buttons doesn't seem too bad by comparison. We'd purchased a couple of small analog battery-powered clocks bearing the Peakeep brand before, they've held up well. We'll keep our fingers crossed, but so far this new one is exceeding expectations.

Easy to read and see with battery backup
Our tv cable box shrunk so much (upgrade) that no clock is on the replacement box, so we needed to get one for that area where our tv equipment is. One that had numbers large enough to see from our seating ateas and numbers that could be seen in lower lighting situations. I looked through the clocks like this on Amazon, and found this one, which fills the bill completely. The numbers have several levels of brightness to choose from, so our eyes aren’t distracted from the tv screen by overly bright numbers. It plugs in and has battery backup, which is a bonus. I highly recommend this clock!

Excellent Clock For Seniors
We needed a couple of desk clocks for an elderly family member. This one fit all the bills. What's In The Box:* The clock* AC adapter with 3' cord* User guideThe clock is very simple to set up, with all the control buttons on the back. It has 5 levels of brightness so we have one up bright in a TV room and one dimmer by a bed.It runs on electricity but also takes two AAA batteries as a backup (not included). It has an alarm with volume, snooze feature, and has a USB port as well so if you are short on outlets, you can plug a phone charger into the port. The display is very large, with numbers a good 3" or more, unlike most options in this price range, which are like 3/4".The clock is lightweight so I am not sure how well it would take a fall. For an inexpensive clock solution, especially for seniors, this is worth a peek.

BIG display
Needed a large display since I can’t see my regular sized alarm clock without my glasses anymore. Perfect size and I can adjust the brightness too. Not using the alarm feature, so can’t speak to that but it looks easy enough to use.

Great alarm, no more phone in my bedroom
I bought this alarm to get my phone out of the bedroom. It worked! Does the job, wake up with no issues at 5 am. Big numbers, loud and annoying sound, perfect!
