What you'd expect from Bosch.
A well made, solid, sturdy product that did nearly everything I wanted it to do.On large drill bits, this worked perfectly - even on demanding tasks.However, on the smaller drill bits, the adapted slipped and failed to grip the drill bits. I'm not sure if it was a fault or problem with my bits (so to speak), but I hadn't had this problem with my normal drill.

Saw quite a few negative reviews on this but I found it very effective. It means I can use one drill for all purposes. I can only presume some reviewers have used it on the wrong setting.

Works very well.
As good as it is, this is not to be used on hammer function unless you want to damage your equipment or possibly yourself.If you use it as it's designed it's a great product. Just don't experiment with it.It holds the bits well, no slips. Easy to put on and use. Recommended.

Direct replacement for damaged chuck.
I'm not using this as an adaptor, but directly mounted as a chuck. I use the drill in a drill stand and only for drilling wood.
