I love the Elvive shampoo and conditioning, I used to buy different but now I'm over 50 Elvive with clay is the best one for my hair

Fantastic! I wash my hair daily as I can't stand having greasy hair. On the weekends when I don't go out, I won't wash my hair and yet it still stays grease-free. Other products I've tried either make my hair feel too greasy as it's trying to tackle the dry ends or doesn't keep the grease at bay on day 2.Been using this for over a year now since it first came out and will continue to do so till they stop making it! :)

I've used so many different variations of L'Oréal over the years and recently went back to other products because my hair didn't seem to benefit from any of the Elvive range.This is the new clay formula that is supposed to reduce the oily roots/dry end scenario and stretch out the days between rewashing by an extra day.I'll review the shampoo and conditioner together since I use them together. Both smell nice & have good consistencies.The Shampoo lathers well and does feel nice on the scalp, it rinses quickly and so far I don't feel like it has built up.The conditioner is lightweight and easy to apply. I tend to apply more to the mid length and ends of my hair than my roots as my hair is quite fine.The conditioner hasn't weighed my hair down when I have applied a little too much or made it greasy and on brushing after applied it's helped with detangling my very long hair.As far as the oily roots/ dry ends goes I feel it's a little hit and miss.The first few times I used it, it definitely extended my hair washing by an additional day, my hair normally needs washing every other day, at a push every two days but I was able to stretch it out to washing on a Monday and it not requiring a wash again until Thursday- granted a little dry shampoo was needed to lift the roots but they weren't greasy and the ends weren't crying out for conditioner.However a month in to using it and it's not really extending my washes, it may be the weather and the fact I'm wearing woolly hats in the cold or maybe my hair has now built up a residue?I'm about to swap products again, which I do anyway to reduce the build up on my hair so I'll looked forward to using it again in a month or so and see if it performs as well again.I hope you find my review useful, if you have any questions about the product please feel free to ask in the box above and I'll do my best to help.

Great if you’re following the CGM for a monthly cleanse to get rid of build up. No silicones but still has sulphates!

This works really well for people oily roots / dry ends. It lathers well, doesn't smell of anything particularly nice but it's not bad and it leaves the hair clean and soft

Highly recommend for anyone who suffers with oily or greasy hair. I suffer pcos and get greasy hair more often as a result. This helps balance it out so much. Since using it my hair has felt incredible. So happy with this item.

This is quite obviously fake and has been refilled with a shampoo that is not ordinary clay. Item arrived with squeeze dent in the middle, sellotape on the lid, and the shampoo is not light green as the ordinary clay is. Also the writing on the bottle appears to be Hungarian? Ridiculous that I paid £11 for whatever this actually is!!
