CRYSTAL 40G Body Deodorant Travel Stick

I have used this product for several years. I have always found it useful and comfortable to use. It works well. Dispatch and delivery was fast, and I thoroughly recommend it. I do wish it was a bit cheaper though!!

In late middle age I developed an allergy to all deodorants/anti-perspirants: even so-called hypersensitive, additive free brands caused a painful rash. It was with some scepticism that I tried this product but it has turned out to be the perfect answer to my problem.Not only does it cause no irritation but it is a highly effective deodorant which is easy to apply, dries rapidly and doesn’t stain clothing. I find it effective for the whole day.The stick costs more than most conventional deodorants but lasts far longer (18 months of daily use in my case) so actually works out cheaper.I find it easiest to apply by wetting the end under the tap before using under the arms.I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

I do not like the price on this one, especially as it is so easy to break. After wetting a few times the column of anti perspirant breaks away and can smash on the bathroom floor,. If you are mega careful with it and treat it like a precious baby it can last a good while. It actually works very well for me and often lasts two days preventing sweaty smell.

This deodorant stick is a brilliant natural option – no scent, no irritation, and it lasts all day. It goes on clear and doesn’t leave marks on clothes. One stick lasts for months, making it fantastic value for money. A great choice if you’re looking for an effective, fragrance-free alternative.

I just got the delivery and when I opened the parcel , one item was opened it looks like been used!!! Very disappointing! Unhygienic and can't return it!

I’ve been using these (on and off) for several years and used properly, they really work. This one is still going strong, months after I purchased it. Just a couple of things to be aware of:- don’t ever drop it! If you do, you’re likely to crack the “crystal” rock it’s made from and it’s just not possible to get it smooth again and then it will be too uncomfortable to apply with jagged edges. The second thing to bear in mind is that you should spend time applying it a lot. A good twenty seconds at least under the armpit! Make sure it’s very damp when applying. It dries quickly though and you will get zero odour on any of your clothing - if applied correctly, it literally kills all odour-producing bacteria on the skin for at least 12 hours, sometimes 24 hours if you haven’t got hot. If you get very hot, however, it will start breaking down more quickly and become ineffective. But for a normal day and outside of excessive heat causing you to sweat profusely, it will totally work. Personally, I use an application of talc on top but obviously that’s not necessary!

The potassium salt deodorant is smoother and more bubble-free than the ammonium salt one, and this is made from potassium salt. The other potassium salt one that is popular is Salt of the Earth. Having just smashed a nearly new SotE in the washbasin I'm very pleased that this one, though slightly more expensive, has a case design that makes dropping it much less likely. It's got a good chunky plastic case, and the top doesn't roll when you put it down! It's well thought out.I've been using alum deodorants for some years now, and I've found no downside to them. The important thing to do is to wet your underarms and not the crystal; otherwise you will get sore.
