Well made and all metal also comes with extra replacement parts. It has a real strong grin, it should hold snakes with no problem.

Awesome easy to grab snakes and remove them.

The edges are a bit to rough for my liking but a bit of plastic dip or something cause they are a bit rough 😬But otherwise it is extremely well made comes it replace cord weight is perfect and very comfortable using

OK so I've been buying those plastic grabbers from Walmart, and pharmacies over the years to pick things up that are out of reach. After a while they wear out or break - they are cheaply made, but yet expensive - and I finally got fed up with that trash and got this one. Let me just say this thing does the job! There is no plastic on it at all, it's literally a steel tube with an aluminum cable attached to the metal handle - very simplistic. It even comes with spare parts! Idk the other reviews definitely didn't lie about this one, it's heavy duty as one can get. Really nice weight and size too, it's sturdy for sure. I highly recommend this one if you are on the fence about it like I was, definitely not disappointed especially for the price!

The Snake grabber tool came to our home within a 48 hour window. I was immediately impressed by how sturdy the tool looked. We were at war with a few very voracious cottonmouth water moccasins. Once we noticed our backyard pond and waterfall became a place of residence for a big mama and 3 younger moccasins I knew we were being threatened.My wife, here sister, our beloved Cavalier-Poodle dog, and the little bunny we call Bugs as in Bugs Bunny. I will never forget the afternoon I saw a very odd looking head staring at me; I thought it was a frog but it did not jump out of the water. I did a search of Google and discovered this bad boy could lead a person or pet to a very hellish death. When they bite you and enough venom is injected into its prey they will bleed out. This snake literally jumped toward us and hissed, as if to say this is my home now. I said to myself, hell no, this is not your home its ours and one of us is going to leave even if that means death. We went to war, I threw big rocks at it. Suddenly I knew the big 6 food reptile was injured enough to leave. But then even though we drained the pond and transferred our goldfish, that they were eating, that trouble maker came back, that was it I ordered the Snake Grabber. I went to the hospital to have back surgery but alass when I returned home, my sister in-law shouted at me. I did it, I got that snake grabbing tool and to my surprise I got it, brought is to the cement patio. With on hand on the tool and one hand on our machete I sliced its head off. The tongs appear to be very well made and easy to use. Haven't had an opportunity to pick up a snake yet but it's just a matter of time with Rattlesnake season around the corner.

Excellent sturdy quality and it works! We found my dogs harassing a venomous Copperhead. My boyfriend was able to easily grab the snake and place him into a large plastic tote. The grabber was very effective and the length was long enough to keep him safe. Snake was set free in a wooded area. And my yard is safer for my dogs. I love all animals and never want to hurt them but I do have to keep my yard safe for my own pets and myself. There aren't many options out there to humanely catch and release snakes but this does the job.
