DO NOT get it if you want accurate step count tracking
The sole reason why I got this was for it's ease of battery replacement. Battery life should be as long as they claim, 1 year, since it doesn't have a lot of smart features. I just needed it for the step counting.Unfortunately this watch has a terrible implementation for the step count. It counts steps if I merely shake my arm, even arm swings standing in place gets tracked. It counts your arm movement while driving, brushing teeth, you name it. Totally unreliable. I've heard of bad step counters on much more costly smartwatches from Suunto so this isn't a rare issue. I should have gone with the Vivofit 4 instead but I really wanted a full display watch face with day, month and time infographic. The heart rate monitor is hit or miss, when it does work though the readings agree with my dedicated finger tip SpO2 device. The problem is sometimes it just doesn't give any readings. It gets tiring to repeat the process to the point your finger starts to ache. Yet another poorly implemented feature. The watch is fine as a simple lap count, stop watch but then again this watch would be overpriced compared to what's available for sport watches that will do just fine.

Disappointed
The watch is attractive but no instructions came with it. Features advertised which was the reasons why I bought the watch don’t work. Maybe if instructions were included it could be figured out.

HR is complicated
HR is a joke! The HR monitor is the only reason I bought it. I don’t like having to charge fitness trackers all the time and only care about my HR during workouts and this thing is awful!!! Do not buy if you want a more reliable HR sensor.Edit:I’ve messed with the watch trying a million different ways to check HR. Found the manual on the internet and it has tips for taking the heart rate. One tip said make sure the wrist and finger aren’t dry. So I dampened my wrist and finger and it works better and quicker. Still complicated because I’m not always around water and really don’t want to be licking my finger to take my HR (yuck germs). The watch is pretty and does all the other Ironman functions I’ve always loved about timex ironmans. The added step count is pretty cool, but I just use that as a reference because no pedometer is completely accurate. So I bumped the stars up to 3. Like I said having to make sure the wrist and finger are damp is not the most convenient thing. It’s ok, if you don’t care about having HR. I’m keeping it, but it won’t be my first choice to workout with.
