Yes, The doll I received is more of a pretty auburn, not flaming red but it is the red hair that Barbie uses...I have found that the same style dress comes in other hair colors...just keep looking for the exact look you like...Again, the dress quality and doll is not as nice as the original I had in my childhood, but a nice representation of the style for a reproduction and price...
