Great info
This book is full of easy to understand instruction and pictures for examples. Very nice book. I did however return it as I meant to order a reformer book and this is specific to floor/mat work.

A must in your Pilates repertoire
If you want to get into the needy greedy of the anatomy of the movement, skills of Pilates, this book will not disappoint you. You don’t need to be an MD to decipher it’s content. It’s written in a way that is simple enough to understand to those with knowledge of Pilates. One of the best anatomy books for Pilates I have read. I highly recommend recommended..

The book I pull out the most
I bought this, and a handful of other popular pilates books such as: the second edition of Rael's Pilates book, the Pilates Body, Big Book of Pilates, and a DK pilates book. They each have little nuggets of info I found valuable. However, after having gone to a reformers class a few times I wanted something that could give me abeginners routine for the mat. This book had exactly what I wanted. Compared to Rael's 2nd edition of Pilates book, the beginners mat routine has been easier to get going with and included modifications to build up to the full version of a move. There is nothing about the extra gear-involved moves so it's easier to find what I need. I have already grown stronger only a few weeks from doing the beginners routine and have progressed to the normal version for some of them. If I could go back and buy only one book, for me it would be this one!

Great information!
Would've absolutely loved a hard cover of this book but the info and the pics are incredibly useful!

great content - cover quality could be better
5 stars+ very clear directions including variations on the exercises+ includes sample workoutsover all amazing content!not so great ...- the flimsy cover that barely protects the pages. even if at an extra cost, to me a sturdier cover would be totally worth it and lift the perceived quality of the entire book- workouts are in landscape layout - not a massive issue, but having to rotate 90 degrees back & forth every time one needs to look up an exercise just breaks the flow a little

The media could not be loaded. This an amazing book that helps you understand which muaxle are working with the which particular movement. It also explain how to do modification and a lot more. I highly recommend it.
