This small Good Shepherd statue is light and easy to handle. A person with some disabilities could easily place it. This would be a wonderful gift for a religious mother or grandmother, or for a church garden, or convent.Mine is at the cemetery and the whole family loves it’s addition to our place of meditation. It looks fragile, but we have had no breakage. It requires some care to prevent winter wear and heavy winds that might tip it over. But it is so beautiful that it is well worth it for the minimal care needed.

Statue is absolutely beautiful! It is bigger than expected and nicely detailed, definitely not disappointed! My mom was extremely satisfied and she's a hard one to satisfy!!!!!

I collect religious statues and have a LOT of them. This is the most beautiful statue that I have ever seen. I had bought it for my garden, but it has ended up in my living room next to a statue of the Blessed Mother. It is worth every penny and more.

Very nicely made, lots of detail, not too heavy. I plan on planting flowers all around. This is behind our fish pond.Update: We never received the shepherd's staff that this statue is supposed to have. Is there a way of obtaining one, or is it another thing I have to buy? Otherwise, I love the statue.

We had originally thought to get a plaster statue, but haven't found one we liked. Then found this one and it is perfect and much nicer than any plaster one. I painted the inside of the tub a light blue so it shows up against that background nicely. Since we live where the snow is often higher than the tub, we bring the statue inside for the winter.

Update: The more I went looking at statues the more I like the resin. Concrete statues weigh far too much and most of the time the detail is wanting. This statue is beautiful in my yard and I am happy with it. I am adding back two stars.Original review: OK, I just got this today. The workmanship and detail is great. Mine does NOT have any glue or defects on it at all. What I am dissapointment in is the weight and material. $125 is steep for what feels like plastic resin. I have bought carved stone for just over $100 of an Angel in my yard with weight to it. So...it IS a nice piece....and Jesus holding the lamb is just awesome. But $125 is too much for the material. I am going to give it a few days to decide if I return it. I may also adjust this review....this is just a first impression. I may not care about the weight after a while....I may like the lightweight resin.....not sure.

I was so excited when this arrived. I actually thought it wasn't going to look or be anything like the picture. I am glad to say...I WAS WRONG. It is better! It's beautifully crafted, sturdy and heavy. I can't imagine putting this outside...but there is a note in the package that explains how to take care of it if you do. I am SOOOO happy with it...it gives me goosebumps. I am tempted to gift the same statue to family.
