Bad product!
Putty was drying out and brittle, chunks were already cured inside the roll. Like other reviews say probably old stock.

Excellent product
I have been using this for years and nothing compares to it for metal or fiberglass repairs. I keep a tube in all of my vehicles and my shop.

Fast drying time
Best thing is wait over night for ac line or oil line what ever your using it for, just wait a few hour.

Don't waste your money!
I bought a few of them. Only needed one, but I can't seem to find QuikSteel anywhere local anymore so I got a bunch to have on hand.I've used QuikSteel in the past, its a fantastic product so my dig is at the seller not the product.Clearly the inventory is VERY old and should be tossed. I went to open my first one. Took it out of the tube, and then went to remove the plastic wrap around it. It seemed to come off, but then it left this super thin layer of plastic on it still. Almost as if the plastic had 2 layers to it or 1 layer that was old and brittle and the bottom layer just stuck to the product. With a bunch of aggravation you can peel the smallest bit off but it would probably take years to get each piece off.So then i said, ehh i'll just work the product together to mix anyway, what harm could the little film of plastic do.... Well it won't mix right and work. Complete trash.I then proceeded to open, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and finally 5th one that I ordered. Same issue across each one. What a complete waste of money but MORE importantly a complete waste of time. I've got a small drip drip drip leak on the bottom of my tub i wanted to get fixed, and I'd rather quick fix it with this if possible. On to another seller. Fingers crossed.

Review for Product Only since purchased elsewhere
I have used this stuff on plumbing fixtures, to patch a torn hose on my turbo diesel car (still holding 2 years later), to attach rearview mirrors, electrical wires, and so much more. This stuff adheres to everything and dries hard. Way better than the JB Weld brand which is gooey and takes forever to set. Recommended to a mechanic friend, and another who owns a fleet. They both love it and use it for various things.

Not too happy
The product must of been old , there was no date on the packaging .It has dry particals all in it and refused to stick to the metal part that needed mending .
