These were a HUGE hit at my 3 year old's birthday party, for both the big kids and the little kids. The older kids (ages 7-11) had a great time designing masks both for themselves and the smaller kids (ages 2-4). The masks come separate from the elastic bands, which makes it much easier to color the masks in, and the bands are easy to attach and stay on pretty securely. The elastics are also a much better quality than I expected: rather than the skinny fragile elastics that you would see on (for example) little paper birthday hats, these bands are a bit thicker, more like a hair elastic. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bands are a bit long, but with the application of 2 or 3 braincells, we figured out how to tied a knot in the back to fit smaller heads.Most impressive was the way the masks held color. The kids colored them with washable markers (nothing special-- the same brand we all send to school with our kids) and the ink went on smoothly and didn't smudge at all. I think even the kids were impressed by how good their own creations turned out.My 3 year old loves the one her older sister made her so much that she won't take it off, which is a testament to both how cute it is, and how comfortable it is for her to wear.This is a really good product for the price.

These were fantastic for a kids superhero themed birthday party! The masks came in the three pictured designs, which is great for small kids because some of them will always want the same one that someone else has. The paper was very sturdy, and all the masks made it through the party, including a water spill, intact.The other part of the design that I really loved was that the holes for the strings were pre-cut out. I was honestly dreading having to use the strings, but not only were the holes cut out, the strings all had metal tips at the end, that went into a T shape, to hold the string to the mask.This idea is GENIUS! Every mask was strung within a minute, and the kids were able to wear them happily.

Good with capes at party for 3 yr old but you have to use marker crayons not so good. Maybe better for 5 yrs

This was a hit with the kids at the birthday party. Although, I bought crayons to color with, and while the color showed up on the masks, it was very faint. It were as if I had bought dollar store crayons- but, I promise it was crayola. Lol I also had them pair off with different colored capes so each kid got to be their own kind of superhero. All in all they worked for their purpose.

I bought these for my students. They loved coloring them and wearing them around school. I liked that the elastic straps have a metal tips, so I didn't need to tie them onto the masks. A few masks did tear after a long day of wearing them, but they are only paper, so I guess it's expected at some point. I'll buy them again for my class next year.

These are so much fun. We had a dress-up birthday party for my four year old and had this as an activity. It was great.We've used pens, crayons, paints, stamps, stickers, glitter glue, and even oil pastels on these. I think pen is probably the best but all are fun!I'm buying more just to have on hand for random play dates.These are fun for a wide range of ages. The older kids can get more serious about how they color them in, the younger ones just scribble, but still feel proud of their mask.

We included these masks with my son's preschool Valentine cards (along with the 24 assorted superhero comic quotes & sayings colorful rubber jelly bracelets). They were nice that thick card stock, a good/strong elastic band with reenforced ends. They were a huge hit with the 4year olds! The extras we had from the school party have held up great and were fun to color even with markers!

I could have saved about $15 by printing them on my computer. Not worth the money
